Quests without rewards...?

Lately I've been receiving several quests in Archosaur which tell me to go out and kill, say, 15 quillhog magus, or something like that. Usually, once you kill your targets, you go back to the quest dispatcher and get your reward.

These ones, however, just flash "Completed (quest name)" as soon as I kill the last monster, and give me no reward whatsoever before disappearing from my quest log. What is the point of these quests? T^T

    you be doing Dragon Quest?
    b:puzzled
the reward for that comes at the way end. although me personally don't think they worth it.
(the earlier dragon quests? sure since you going to kill those mobs anyway.)
but overall dragon quest not worth it.

There are also chain quests. Some parts of the quest do not give (or give very little) rewards. Then the large reward/exp/coin comes at the end.

Nope, it's not dragon quest. It might be chain quests, but the problem is that they do not direct me to anyone once they're done. They simply disappear from the quest log without either a reward or a replacement quest. Is this normal? X_X

I'd love to tell you the name of the quest, but it disappeared from my logs. X_X I know it was a level 24-25 quest involving Quillhog Magus, for one of them. :o Is there a good site to look up the name, perhaps? Come to think of it, such a site would probably mention if its a chain quest, too. :O

That's a quest that was in gold in your quest log right?

That's a Cultivation quest. It's part of a two part quest where you have to kill the quillhogs then the pyrogoths. (Or vice versa or you can kill both at the same time. you just have to kill both monsters) Once you beat both then you'll get a quest complete and you'll be able to speak to the quest awarder.

Ah, I see..... That actually makes a lot of sense, thanks ^_^ Is there a way to find this sort of thing out, in that database site? As far as I can tell, it doesn't mention it. :o

    Culti quest

It's a never ending chain helping you to get higher in cultivation (after you've done all culti quests, at lvlx9 you get the final culti quest for that culti lvl alowing you to lvl up your cultivation (and reward with a massive amount of spirit.
