Got tab but no quest, feeling stupid

I am probably too stupid for this game. Even after reading a lot on the forum, I managed to finish my fb29 quest (qingzi) and getting my tab for it afterwards. My question is: What to do with it? Can I use the tab without the quest, doing qingzi again? Can the tab help someone else? Or should I get rid of the tab (and how do I get rid of it)?

Btw this is not the only reason I am feeling stupid. I play a veno with a magmite. The squad I joined got wiped on the first run because I attacked the wrong mob. They were kind enough not to kick me, and in the second run we made it. My apologies to everyone who lost exp because of me, and my thanks for being so patient with me. I really hope you win the "help a noob" price for that. I am too embarassed, really... b:embarrass

    Don't be too harsh on yourself, everyone makes mistakes ^^

    Tabs are given as an "incentive" for higher levels to help with your fb. It gives everyone else in your squad free rep, exp and 1 fb blood per boss. If however, you got someone to help with your fb without the tab, then don't worry about it. The fb is the important part for you and if you're done you're fine

    Best advice I can give, find a Glacial Walker from the tideborn area. These are the best tanking non-rare pets you can get, even superior to the magmite.

    The tab gives everyone in the squad a quest to kill a boss (in this case qingzi) and gives everyone some exp, spirit, rep and blood (which is a material for some mold gear) for killing him. The purpose of it is suposed to be a way to get people to help you do the other quests you need, since they get a reward for helping you do it.

    I'd suggest keeping the tab. When you hit level 40, you'll need to do BH runs, and you can use the tab then to make everyone happy with free exp.


    And don't be embarassed about mistakes. Everyone does, and you're actually using words too, so its simple to help you out. You'd be surprised how many people would have written: "I haz a tab for qunzi nd no kwests ha1p plz".

    So I take it the tab is not bound to the fb29 quest, right? Can it be used for any quest then, or only fb or bh? I can't look at it at the moment because I'm at work.

    tabs can only be used in the corresponding FB/BH
    the tab for FB29 can only be used in the level 29 instance.
    tab for FB39 can only be used in the level 39 instance
    etc etc

    but you could hold onto it and use it later to bribe people into helping you on your FB
    (me did this for me FB59/69/79 by hijacking a BH squad and then tabbing instead of paying wine fees.)

    You can use it to bribe other people into doing another 29 run with you - which you might want to do for a chance at a mold, or to help a fish, or because you've hit 4x and have bounties to collect.
