Leveling a Water Pet

I've decided to level up a turtle and I was wondering if anyone knows an area under water where there's a lot of mobs that aren't too spread out

At the moment it's in the 30s. I would just go around taming ones closest to my level as usual but I wanted to do something a little different b:chuckle

    I would just upgrade the turtle to this as you won't be using water pet that much.This is untill you can get the celestial plumefish which is pain.

    I was just doing a quest around 675 785(19), Undine Supreme, and there were alot of good level 37 Undine and Some shark just everywhere. That might be a good spot for a while.

    In the 30s you have:
    The river past Hidden Orchid (30-34?)
    Lake of the Plume (~36 I think)
    The ocean off the mainland between Allies Camp and Anglers Village (36-40)

    Then there's a gap between these and the 51+ stuff off Tai Chi Shore and Misfortune, and the 57-60 stuff off the south shore of Dawns Cry. Then there's another gap before the mid-70s stuff south of Nameless Isle, and the level 80 plumpfish in the lake west of Sanctuary. I think there's some higher level stuff off Dreamweaver, not sure what level range.

    My Highlands Tortoise (tame level: 8) just made level 59 doing a quest on level 76 Dragonmaids this morning. It's a lot of work leveling up a turtle, but they can take on stuff even 20+ levels above them with enough healing.
