A New PvP Server?

There are twice as many PvE servers as PvP.
I'm just wondering if there is any current thought into making a new one?

All PvP players know how difficult it can be to play on a PvP server that has been around a long time.

And guaranteed it would make past players come back to the game.. new servers always do, especially PvP ones.

There is most likely no plan to open a new server be it PVP or PVE in the forseeable future. The Raging Tide server literally just opened, and it's still being populated.

Also, I'm not sure how it would make old players come back. Old players played on old servers. I'm not so sure they'd want to reroll in a totally new environment. If anything were to make people come back, it would be to do with game content and quality, rather than just merely opening up a new server, in my opinion.

A new PvP server allows people to level up without getting pked.
    (Or very very minimal)

And then allows them to not be completely out-done by those 20 levels higher than them.

    It gives people a chance.

By the way... did they murder the new server like they did with the last one?
I remember when the last one came out, people leveled their asses off to 60/70, and then a week later they just had a massive sale on experience items and everyone got to 60+ in like a day. And the potions they released (at near free prices) were so strong... stronger than a gold charm.

Yeah it's the original PvP server.

But people have no extra motivation to join Harshlands. It's just getting pked.

When they rolled out Harshlands.. within 2-3 days you had 6x-7x level players. Do you think it will be any different on a new PvP server? Current PvP servers are not at capacity, and your thoughts on why a new pvp server would be good, while noble, are flawed. We have already seen what happens when a new server is opened.

    this
from me vast experience with mmorpgs and other competitive games, having a new server isn't really that different from an older server.
there will always be those that be better than you, those who has more real life resources in order to help themselves in game, more time than you, etc etc.
also me was automatically drawn towards Lost City.

My comments was not regarding the people that worked hard to level.
My comments was about the ridiculous potions and the "free" levels for others.

Potions that heal you faster than a lvl 60 (sometimes 70) can damage you...
And enough books to give you mass levels in hours.

On the current pvp servers all you have to do is make it to 40 and you will not have to grind ever again to gain levels.

umm.. I was talking about the people that used oracles to get those levels in a few hours. There is no way in this game short of GM intervention where you can start a character and be level 70+ in 2-3 days w/o buying your levels. When Harshlands opened, that is exactly what happened. When the other new servers opened that is exactly what happened. So sorry, but that is the lay of the land in this game. A new server opens and within a couple days you have people that are 6x -7x.

    pretty much what Saitada says.

When HL opened it had like 1 week free of oracle because JJ event wasn't out... When JJ event came lvl 80s in 2 weeks

They were hardly free..... the people that got from level 1 to level 80 in 2 days spent a few thousand dollars in order to do that.... If you call that free, than yes, you are right, they got to buy oracles (books) and level for free....

That's where you're wrong. There were 2 people that still stayed ahead of the oracle buyers.

East got a new PvE server, I wouldn't mind having a new PvP server on west.

As said the already existing servers for PvP are not full yet. When the GM's see that the servers, regardless of PvE or PvP, are getting near their max capacity they will announce a new server.
