So I'm thinking of getting a pair of Misty Forest Rings as per the stickied guide.

I'm wondering is there a minimum amount of base accuracy required, at around level 77, for it to be worthwhile having? Or would it be worthwhile regardless?

If it is the former, can someone give a number, like around 200, 300, 400, 500 etc. for a Barb at around level 77.

There is no base accuracy required...however equipping misties was the single most awesome investment I've ever made. Accuracy over 1300!!! I also equipped for accuracy on all accessories. Hitting what one swings at is important...especially if one's goal is to cancel AOE's.

I don't miss too often now. RAWR!

Yea. Misty Forests are probably one of the best rings [definitely the best free ring] a Barbarian can get his hands on. The only ring I can think that tops it is Sign of Chaos: Frost. But that's a level 95 Ring that you get from Anniversary Packs [good luck making them from Lunar Forge...] So Misty Forests will definitely serve you for a good long period, and are definitely worth the money if you have to buy it.

is the 1.3k with or without bloodbath? if it without...im gonna have high hopes for those rings. REALLY high.

when i equip 2 misties how is the accuracy calculated? is it both bonuses at once, so it becomes a 100% bonus total(doubled base accuracy??)? or is it like u equip 1, to get 50% of base accuracy. then you equip ANOTHER to get ANOTHER 50% of the new accuracy.

yeah, i know the second part sounds sorta confusing. ask me to elaborate, if you must.

Good question, I would assume it is the former, where you get 100% of the base accuracy.

Thanks for all the input guys, I'm gonna get me a pair of those bad girls. b:chuckle

What about the frost gold rings? I have misty rings, and they are nice and all... but i dont think i could roll endgame with them. I would want more attack at some point.

I had 1.4k acc with 2 misty's and 2 perfect ambers in wep at lv.77, normal tank build. Even against archers I hardly ever missed (pvp-mode). And that's without BB.

Misty rings can be made at mysterious merchant in 1k for ~800k + chips.

1.3K without bloodbath. I have used bloodbath a total of twice...

The accuracy bonus of misties is based upon base accuracy. For instance:

If my accuracy is 500 and I equip a misty my accuracy becomes 500+ 250= 750.

So if I equip 2 misties my accuracy becomes 1000.

Again, I have always strived to have accuracy and dex+'s on my other equips too. (Capes, belts, necklaces.)

High Refines on your weapons will give you plenty of attack.

Misties are still +104 phys attack total, for base attack they still beat both TT90 and Lunar. So you'll hit pretty hard with these, have more HP and a decent accuracy. If you can afford lv95 gold definitely go for it, but misties will still last you until endgame quite easily.
