When I get the game installed I was considering either a wizard or cleric... Probably will try both.. b:victory

Let me ask.. any tips for a newbie you wish you knew when you started?

Best place to star?

Best way to gain levels fast (legitimately)?

Thanks.. oh and by the way I am NOT new to online games so you can be technically.. I've played almost ever mmo there is. b:chuckle

Make sure you don't accidentally join a PVP server unless you really really mean to.

Hit the green square in the bottom left, and fix up the chat channels so that you can see squad and faction at the same time.

The "One man army" (and similar) quests, identified by having multiple 'kill these' options, at several levels, aren't real quest chain quests. I wasted half an afternoon on that.

And don't sell stuff to other players, or buy from them, until you've been to Archosaur (the central city) and got an idea of the real prices.

Starting city, follow your quests - that shows you around the world.

Do all your quests, once you hit 40 do your daily (bounty hunter) quests.

Pritty importent, you will find some quests telling you to get some things you've never heard of, and showing no reward other than something else you've never heard of. These usually involve celstones and mirage celstones, or badges of (something).

Best to not take these quests, they are just ways to turn 1 item into something else, and don't do anything else for you (and you won't find badges anytime before lvl 40, and than only the most common type, the rest only end game. Cellstones you will get as extra reward from quest, you can trade these for mirage celstones to upgrade your gear (refine). Best to not refine until much later in the game, because you will switch gear low lvl so fast you won't have any use of refining it
9 out of 10 voices in my head say I'm not crazy... the 10th is singing the music of tetris

What exactly is it on the cash shop that helps people level? I was browsing through the items on the website yesterday and I didn't see anything related to experience.
