I have played countless free MMORPG's over the past couple of months and have discovered that about 90% of them are horrible. Now, I know alot of other people here have tried a bunch of other f2p games before they settled on a PWE game. By no means are the PWE games perfect but I just wanted to know what a dealbreaker for other mmorpgs are for people.

For me my dealbreaker is a lack of character customization and grind based gameplay.

What are your dealbreakers?

Lack of enforcement against cheaters, botters, and other undesirable types.

A low population. I tend judge a game extremely early.
I was early taught to work as well as play,
    My life has been one long, happy holiday;
Full of work and full of play-
I dropped the worry on the way-
And God was good to me everyday.

Lack of customization, lack of enforcement of griefing, botting, and lots of gold seller spam.

well since i play without a mouse, my dealbreakers are click to move (no wasd), click to turn the view around (again, no ad or arrow view), and difficult targeting

    unbalanced cash shops.

i agree with cash shops making life easier for people who dont have the time to play or just want things easier. charms/dolls/xp scrolls/fashion but when a game becomes unbalanced where you can spend 1 hour playing and just spend lots of money and put in no effort in game to obtain level/gear a game is no longer fun for the average person. even occasional CS users will feel there is no point in playing when they cant compete with those who spend $1k+ per month. sooner or later the free/occasional spenders get frustrated with being unable to compete with heavy CS users and they move on. the heavy CS users get bored not having anyone to kill/make fun of for "sucking" and they move on.

there needs to be balance in cash shops or game starts to slowly die.

    Basically, the following:
Lack of player interaction - Few players, not very many squad/party related things
Lack of solo things - the game forces you to squad for things whether you want to or not through means of heavily difficult mobs, or quests that require more than one person to complete or not getting the reward or not as great a reward as if you were in a squad/party.
Lack of player courtesy - few, if any people that are mature, sensible people, that dont throw around insultive/racial slurs as if they were common language (yes, I once played a game that threw around the n word almost every other word. I haven't played it since that very minute.)
Bugs - To a point where if anything gets fixed, it only brings up more problems.
Bots/hacks - High number of players who bot their characters, or when you fight them, they have hacks that put them at an unfair advantage (speed kills, pot-stealers, etc.)
Excessive Noobs (which would fit under player courtesy) - People who just start the game, don't know what to do and refuse to learn, thinking they're good enough as is. When they reach higher levels, is when they become more of a problem, as they still don't know what to do and think they're the best at things, suggesting to those with higher experience on what they should/should not be doing, making things less fun for others, especially when they're the ones to cause a squad wipe.
Last but not least, which usually makes or breaks a game:
Lack of response between Developers and Players: This often will ruin a game, especially when the devs assume that adding something the players as a whole want, when only a few actually do want it.

Surprisingly, this game does have quite a few things wrong with it, and the only real reason I hadn't moved to something else, is due to the fact that my comp can't take much better, I can't afford it, and my friends that are still here.

Very low graphics, I tend to judge a games graphics pretty easily
Bad gameplay (which also can mean bugs)
Too many maintenaces (like every day)
Lack of people who are playing, how I'm supposed to get a squad for something if there are no players around? ^^
Way too many botters (they block you from exping/questing, people who have played this game know what I mean :) )

I don't really see anyone having Lunar equipment affecting how I play the game to be honest. If anything it makes my life easier when a barb needs less healing, or DD's do more damage and take down bosses faster.

[edit] this was a reply to something thats not there anymore lol
