Does anyone find themselves lately thinking this?

Like, when you're saving for something and another boutique related twist in the economy makes it so you wont be able to afford it again...and you're thinking "damn... =/" and mebbe a bit frustrated...when suddenly you have a flash of light and think to yourself...

"Hmm, I coooould just charge a modest $20-50 zhen then I'd have more than enough.... :o"

Not a QQ or anything, just curious. Only game I've found this happens to me, anyone else find this?

    In terms of mathimatical efficiency, there is no money making method in pwi that I know about which is better than a minimum wage job. 10 zhen per hour = 4mil per hour with prices right now. GL farming 4mil in mats in an hour.

    So it make sense people would want to take the easy way out and do it this way. I however have not bought any zhen at all.

    Yup. I keep saying I will stop spending money on this game, yet every time they come out with something like this, I'm forced to just try it out at least.

    I spend money on this game for charms and doll "on pvp server" and um...tokens I need those **** event pots they save my **** >.>b:kiss

    My tokens I was trying to sell to fund my TT90 just dropped in value...but I immediately find myself thinking. "a mere 20$ would top up the difference...and then some"

    Not like I don't have a choice in the matter though, so can't complain.

    Agreed, that happens to me sometimes. The key here is to buy in moderation and use your money wisely. I'm not a heavy cash shopper, I usually buy Gold sporadically and about 10-20 at a time. PWI has costs to cover as well, since in my oppinion they have provided a good service, in my book they're worthy of my money. I'm getting a better gaming experience by buying Gold, the truth is I'm not getting anything at all since I can't use my Seraphic Mist to fly in real life, so I see Gold more like a donation for their services.

    Never. I've only spent a total of $5 on MMORPGs. And that was for membership for a game with the initials RS.

    It's called brain wash.Imagine a comercial that tells you 24h/day:Will you farm one weak to eventually buy that or isn't better to just charge a bit of zen?
    Or maybe I'm going crazy and it's only voices in my head that tell me this.Ignored them so far because I only listen to them when they tell me to kill somebody...jk b:laugh

    I charged 20 gold so far, and planning on charging another 10 gold in a few weeks.
    if I buy a game like this in a store it'll cost me around 50 euro's. So I decided I'm allowed to spend at least 50 euro on the game.

    I mostly buy fashion and battle pet packs >.<

    lies! 5 mins of dt and 20 mins of tw earn me close to 50mil a week. 25 mins for close to 100 gold.

    I agree, I find myself justifying my gold spending on here by saying to myself "well, I normally spend $50 to buy a game and play it.. so what not spend the $50 on the CS instead.." or "p2p games cost $10/mo or more..."

    We could all learn a lot from crayons, some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names (like chartreuse), and all are different colors....BUT they ALL exist very nicely in the same box!

    Most people buy $50 games that just came out, others spend money on useless things like 84 button remotes and $100 nikes that barely compare to any other shoe brand, I just choose to waste my money on something Ill enjoy for a long time (PWI)

    You don't need to charge zen. I spent nothing so far and got items that are worth at least 1 billion in coins (350 gold, 36k tokens, 7 x 10* orbs, 1.5k 1 star orbs and misc. other items that I don't care to name). You just gotta play the market.

    I used to justify things. Used to say it was a good game, worth the money, retail games cost more, etc, etc.

    Then one day I woke up and realized I'd spent over $650 since I'd started playing.

    It's real easy to fall into that trap - believe me, I swore when I started I wouldn't become a slave to the CS. Swore up & down on my holy manuscripts, and look where that got me. It took several objectionable decisions by the powers-that-be AND unemployment before I had that wakeup call, sad to say.
    PWI's a great game, but it's run by corporate mongrels who will sacrifice anything in-game to the bottom line. Look what happened to Frost, what's happening to Lunar Glade. But hell, you don't need me preaching on - one look in game tells you as much.

    Maybe you don't care, maybe you're okay with that, but I hope this serves as a cautionary tale to at least a few.

    PWI works by getting people addicted to it and then squeezing the money out of them. First time you play you're sucked into the game. You enjoy it. Don't have a care in the world.......Then you start playing every day for an hour. Then two.....three.....four.......Soon you stop realizing your not ACTUALLY HAVING FUN. All it's about is the competition. About becoming better than everyone else. And then you realize people who charge zen are passing you in a couple of days. So you say, why don't I put the $50 I would've used to buy the new PS3 game and instead use it on PWI? And you keep doing that.........
