Level to high to complete a quest? can a gm help me?

i finnished a quest, and when i was gonna put it in, it said level to high, if it was level to high why couldnt it say that before i wasted time finnish the quest? thats wasting time for absolutly nothing...

    Well for started maybe you leveled in between the moment you have started the quest and the moment you have finished it ?
    Anyway I do not think any GM will be able to help you in this matter; if it happened, it happened!

    You most likely pick up the quest at a low lvl, then decided to finish it while you are a high lvl. If you get a quest at lvl 40 you might have from 40-45 to do the quest. I suggest you trash all your low lvl quests and pick them up again to sort out the useless quests.

    Myself had a Time based quest since lvl 20 or so and complete it at 80+ just for pure fun and haven't got such message as well got all rewards.

    Maybe it was a One Man Army quest.

    i cant find the link now, and i guess actually it wouldnt do much good, bcuz nobody provided a full list, but i had asked a similar question, which quests can be lvld past, and some can, but others cannot. it'd be really great if they would change this, especially now with the new bh system making it so hard to keep up to date with quests.

    This might help, I did a regular quest after having it for a long time and I got the same message. So I dont think its restricted to just one man army quests.

    i picked up a quest, note: i picked it up at lvl 64, on my barb. It was the misfortune quest for finding new lands the one where you kill the barren boa's. I killed all 50 mobs, I hated the quest it was so painful. went to turn it in and it said i couldnt.

    Note:
    I picked it up and did not level before trying to turn it in
    It did not tell me it was not finishable until AFTER i killed all the mobs

    I trashed the quest but it is still showing in my find quest log and it will let me pick it back up b:surrender

    I had the same issue on the same quest in fact. I picked it up and leveled several levels beyond it, then did it and the same thing happened. However when I trashed it I could not pick it back up. I chalked it up to waiting to long to do my quest b:chuckle

    I got this quest on my character at level 63 and got it done at level 65 and still got the exp...If it is still in your quest log you should be able to do it...which means this is a "bleep" all people who disagree....take a walk n gtfo!

    No it wasnt a one man army, it was a normal quest

    me probably could have finished it long ago but me wasn't willing to ask for more help after finally getting a squad up for Jewelscalen....
    then me sort of forgot about it.

    Nah, I was able to have two one-man army in my quest log, I was still able to complete the one I had out-leveled by a few lv.

    Does this also include not picking up quests and out-leveling them? Like... still being too high level it's not even available anymore?

    Because I forgot to pick up that dragon of the depths quest and it's not showing up anywhere in my quest log (along with a few others, but I still have 40+ available to pick up anyway).

    It really doesn't bother me that much, because if I'm leveled up past those quests because of the bh's and such, doing those old quests wouldn't give me a lot of exp anyway. It'd be more worth-while just to do the more current ones anyhow. I was just wondering that if you were too high level to even pick them up anymore.

    It'd be nice if the quest log could organize your available quests by level b:chuckle

    That's odd. I have purposely left quests from lv75-85 undone till I hit 86 (after gamma). Never ran into this problem. Might be a new update.

    Then... is there maybe a limit to how many quests are in your available quest log? If so, maybe it never appeared in the first place...? I know there's only 20 you can accept, but I've no idea about the other log (Though I must say, I really like this system than the old "find quest" button b:chuckle ).
