as the title says , what are ur experience with gv gamma and fc so far , on ur psys?

    FC was interesting at 79. You can only assist aoe the mobs with white voodoo on. Anything more and you are likely to pull agro from the tank. Mine was a lvl 95 barb with demons skills. It was fun otherwise. you can Earth vector on or after bm roar of pride to lengthen stun time and add some dmg. careful with phys mobs lol. They hurt if you pull agro but, it's expected with 85+ mobs. We are great with dd otherwise on bosses.

    1st Boss you can black voodoo and dd to your taste. Avoid the circles he spawns on the floor.

    2nd Boss will sleep/seal you a bit. You will usually reflect / avoid his curse but get the other status which appears to stop movement and casts.

    3rd Boss you can dd from afar. I wouldn't black voodoo as you may not be paying attention and get 2 hit by the adds. If anything white voodoo and be prepared just in case you have to fend them off. It's best to keep them off you with a landslide, glacial shard combo then dd and repeat till it's done. Those are out right dangerous even white voodooed.

    4th Boss Either no voodoo or white voodoo with Soul of Vengence and Retaliation on all the time. (Your job) use Disturb Soul on the bishops and dd away with the other dds till it/they die. you can also aoe to hit the boss and the bishop which helps speed things alone. Earth Vector helps to when you got the spark on bishops.

    5th Boss Do what any other long ranger dd would do but with Soul of Vengeance on. run when he uses his 'SUPER' technique just far enough away to avoid dmg from it and continue till dead.

    6th boss Sleep and phys aoes. Use White Voodoo and Keep Soul of Vengeance and Retaliation on. DD and if you want use landslide to help cancel the bosses magic attacks / aoes.

    Bonus room: :) When the mobs have been gathered for aoe White Voodoo, on the Bm Roar of Pride you, Sandburst, Earth Vector, Glacial Shard and pray they don't come running for you lol. We do ok with the heads as well. the two best aoes to use are Sandburst and Aqua Cannon when they spawn close in a group.


    7th Boss phys aoes and spawns hands and minis. If you are bold you can take hands. BUT I would use white voodoo to lower the dmg you take from the phys aoes and use Soul of Vengeance and Retaliation to return the dmg his aoe does to him. I keep them both up and take out the hands till he's dead.

    8th Boss White Voodoo to keep agro down and dd away. I use my White Voodoo Lazy combo for this one till she stuns then I start it back up again.

    9th Boss Good Old Frost Nix. O.o Well.. use Soul of Vengeance and Retaliation to sometimes avoid the status and aoes and return the dmg. You don't have to white voodoo this one you can go without. Keep Vengeance and Retaliation up and dd away.

    10th Boss (assist dd this no black voodoo or white voodoo. I kept pulling agro on this one and he can hit for 900+ a hit and he puts the smack down when he picks you.

    11th Boss (White Voodoo and Soul of Vengeance and Retaliation on all the way and dd till death.)

    It was fun. We are more dd than support in FC. My barb didn't much need Empowered Vigor being 95 so I kept it on me most the time except when he was pulling masses for aoe. Don't hit your tank with Soul of Vengeance if he / she doesn't ask as it will destroy his/her mana pool which he/she needs for skills.

    Gamma I haven't done yet. Will keep you posted as things happen.

    Gamma is going to be interesting. The Zhen is just so solid, I don't know who we could possibly replace other than the archer or the wizard.

    Did Gamma At 81 with an 80+ squad. Got to stage 8 before it fell apart.

    The squad consisted of all 80+ of the following:
    Barb, bm, cleric, wiz, archer, and myself (Psy)

    Your post / position: Either in front of the archer or beside him.
    I moved around within BB range to keep dmg halfed, when I got hit which rarely happened. I also assisted with pushing mobs into DB. (the Wiz's aoe)

    I filled the veno spot.
    For those who don't know, the veno digs chest and kills mobs in the last room, and moves to the next then repeats. This can be done till all chests are mobs are complete. you should get room 2-3 rooms done before help arrives.

    Recommended skills to lvl for bean gathering:
    Soulburn & Psychic Will. The other 2 are your primary attacks which you should have maxed at this point. Attack, cast soulburn and either pot or bubble of life when your hp gets low and repeat till all mobs are dead.


    Tips when assist aoeing / dd:

    #1 You don't have to white voodoo unless you draw agro or During the last boss. If you draw agro use it right away as you may not get a second chance when the mobs get to you. Another good thing is if you are being rushed by phys mobs to use Psychic Will (max it asap if you aoe or gamma) then use white voodoo to reduce the damage and if you can tank the mobs that came great, if not move around till either the bm or barb pulls agro back.

    #2 It's advisable to keep Soul of Retaliation up too as it softens the blow from any first hit.

    #3 Use Red Tide at about 70% and you shouldn't draw agro.

    #4 When aoeing this is the order of aoe I used: Earth Vector, Sandburst, Glacial Shard. I did it because the first hit stuns, the second makes it hard for the mobs to hit so less dmg on everyone and the third stops mobs most times if they are coming after you. If they don't then it's just another aoe. Red tide came in handy for the group of mobs that linger a little longer than they should.

    #5 Empowered Vigor works wonders for keeping people alive on auras and BB. Mine is lvl 10. I found it makes it easier on the barb if you cast it BEFORE he goes out to gather mobs and comes back. DO NOT cast it as he is coming back to bring the mobs to the DB or the mobs will swarm you and you will die a horrible death. Use it on the Wiz or Cleric also when they have agro and it may save their life. You will rarely need to use it for yourself so use it as a life saver for someone else in the party.

    I'll keep you posted as I find out anything new for us.

    1. That, or keep a lvl 4~5 white voodoo, with blessing you can halve the damage taken while only nerf a bit of your damage, you will still pull agro from time to time but you won't be dying, also help you stay alive while dding at last boss.

    2. Soul of retaliation got messed up by god's eye, everytime you set up, god eye hit you for 1 damage -> lost soul of retaliation so it doesn't really mater

    3. I just spam it when I can, but always save a spark for psychic will in case of emergency, the remove bleed help you stay alive

    4. actually, most of them use range magic/bleed atk, so it doesn't matter about paralyze, decrease accuracy etc, the stun and bleed however, is nice.

    5. since it only work on 1 person only, use it wisely, I personally dont mindlessly cast it on solely barb or squishy in group but the one take the most damage, do look after your team8

    Update:
    At lvl 81

    Just Beat Gamma with a mix of 80+ barb, bm and myself, 70+ cleric, archer and wiz.

    I didn't have a need for charm as I didn't get hit much at all. I did confirm on the last boss that if you use white voodoo, purify status with psychic will, keep vigor on the tank and use bubble of life when you get hit a little too hard you will be just fine on auras. Psys don't need dews even on the last boss.

    Cheers guys go make it happen. We do nice with a veno sub. Next sub I'll try archer. Will keep you posted.

    1. If it works for you to lvl 4-5 your white voodoo do it :) more power to you. This is for people who wonder what to do, not those who have done it. ;)

    2. Retaliation worked rather nice for me, then again I wasn't always up on the eye getting hit for 1 dmg. Just thought you should know. It did very well during the last boss too.

    3. psychic will is great to have ready but I never got bleed. debuffed yes but never bleed. Maybe even wood dmg over time. Like you said. Psychic will to remove debuffs... or did I say that? Can't remember.

    4. Just a heads up not trying to be mean but those same magic mobs that have long range attacks have melee too.

    5. Once again, sorry to be the bringer of bad news but the people taking the most damage in Gamma are often the tank (BARB, BM) and the arcanes (CLERIC, WIZ) I do however think the barb can use it more, most times since it's the barb that loads everything on to him and brings it back while agroed.
    It literally CAN make the difference between the barb dying on a gather or making it back alive to the eye, where things are less grim with bb and auras covering him/her. While the load is being aoed then you can decide who it's best for among the group taking dmg.
