Water Plan

hmm, i have no experience with any type of mages but i'm just wondering, would it be an effective plan to get your water resistance as high as possible, with shards and such, get your water attack buff(idk what it's called) to max lvl, and when your going pking, to give this buff to your oppenet? i'm not sure how much % a level ten water buff does but if you have an unusual amount of water resistance , i'm assuming this your oppenent would not harm you that much. It's just a theory, so dont critiscize. Wizards comment.

    The buff doesn't change the nature of attack.

    So if BM deals physical damage with axe, will still deal physical damage when buffed with Frostblade. It will be his normal damage + minor extra damage from Water.

    this. Also frostblade only works on auto attacks (not skills of any kind) so that'd be just dumb

    this too
    also um frostblade apparently uses the target's (hopefully physical) attack as teh basis of the buff not the caster's magic attack.

    its dont convert to enemy attack to water just add +water dmg its mean if bm hit 1k with normal hit then will be a bit more but from this dmg 1k still physical and only addon water.

    so u will 1 hit because all class can hit with another element or with phisical attack.
    u sure? cause the the skill description says "?% of your base magic attack"

    u are sure u readed that skill description and not other skill description?
    its clearly % eq dmg like archer fire buff/barb posion buff and this work only with melee attack.
    Append an icy breath onto the party member's weapon, allow the normal
    attack to have additional 30% of frost damage base on the
    equipment attack damage, last for 15 minutes.

    they said all,
    it only works in auto atk, it doesnt change the phy dmg to water dmg just add water dmg to the exist phy dmg, just like archers fire arrow buff;
    becuz of all that this skill is for gain chi/buff archers, cuz archers love auto atk we all know that

    If you want to see see for yourself, go buff someone new in one of the starting areas. Notice that they don't start 1 or 2 hitting everything: if the description were accurate they'd massacre those mobs.

    yup you're all right and it does make more sense that the base is the buffed player's attack but when i hover the mouse over the skill in-game the popup says "your base magic attack" ...weird
