Special (gender) marriages?

Sorry if i placed this on wrong section or make anybody feels annoyed, but...

is it any possible way to PW having a same gender marriages?
my selfish request is because... well i made a high lv male char although i myself is a girl, and i just don't wanna be bothered by ppl asking me this and that (why make male blahblah) b:surrender

but for else, well.. it makes the world more perfect, isn't it... b:shutup

i've got some of my friend is homosexual and having trouble when it comes to this... yeah, i'm one of the ppl who support them anyway...
and some game already have this on their feature isn't it...
and i like pw so very much that i want everything is possible on this game...

but can it? caaan it pretty please told to GM as a suggestion...? b:sad

    Weird... not to long ago i heard that since November 2009 same sex marriage is allowed in PWi.

    I think it will be wise to recive final word in this case from PWi staff.

    I think its dumb b/c my boyfriend wanted to play a veno, so now we can't get married. PLUS he can't carry me around when i'm lazy. BOOO!!!

    There are ways to get around it but it will cost double. You each make a female character with similar names and marry to each others male character. It will cost you 4 packs instead of 2 and 4mil instead of 2 for a divorce.

    GMs have stated somewhere this'll never be allowed... I just woke up and CBA looking for the exact reply, but it was clearly stated: they don't wanna bring political issues within the game. I'm pretty sure the optionnot being there is still some sort of political issue.... but I think people would seriously complain about same-sex marriages being available. Think Prop 8 (if you're you're North American you've most likely heard about that).

    I could start a whole debate on equality within games, but I'm not gonna. I'm just gonna go back to not caring about marriages, and load the game since I'm more awake.

    If you have an issue with this, try submitting a ticket. Im sure that PWE here in North America could attempt to get it changed JUST for North America's version, if it REALLY became an issue that would flood their support system.

    On the flip side, I know most of the GM's are at least very sensitive and understanding about the subject. They do know that the GLBT community does play this game, and helps keep it alive. Spoons himself constantly refers to 'partner' instead of husband and wife, and even the system message in game was changed so it did not refer to a heterosexual marriage.

    And please, please try to use search function. It makes spoon's job so much easier.

    I'm perfectly straight, myself.

    However, not allowing SS marriage in PW is boolshyt, so to speak.

    People play this to escape, not to deal with the same **** with a prettier avatar.

    I don't think there's a facepalm picture epic enough for what you said just now.... and if there was, it would probably have something to do with Chuck Norris and God... and Carmina Burana would be playing from it, despite it being a BMP file.

    But yeah, the gms said many times that same sex marriage wouldn't be allowed, as much as I'd like it to be there myself.

    believe it or not, a large portion of the marriages on pwi are homosexual. bcuz about half of the girl characters are really guys. and guys are marrying them thinking they are girls b:laugh

    but i agree, **** marriage should be legal. actually, polygamy should be legal as well so that way i would be able to marry my girl.

    As we have stated many times in the past, this is a fantasy game and we do not foresee the addition of any other real world elements at this time. People tend to play MMORPGs as a break from the drama of real life, so we would not like to bring that controversy into this game.
