Not that your post is remotely useful, but I'm going to assume the following:

    - You're new at this.
    - You have crappy gear.
    - You have a crappy level.

To sum it up; level up to 90 and go from there.

Ironheart and wellspring are awesome. You might be able to keep yourself alive long enough for them to get bored. I did that when I was lower level and got pk'd a lot.
Cleric Power! b:chuckle Clericism movement anyone? =D

    "We are not your slaves,
    We are not your babysitters,
We are not your personal med-pack,
    We are Clerics, god dammit,
And if your death means the survival of the squad as a whole,
    Well...I'll see you in hell..."

No need to be rude, now? The person's in a PVP server and he/she probably gets killed while she's grinding in quests.

On Topic: Well, as mentioned, wellspring and ironheart blessing will make you survive those people. If they're around your level, just use cyclone on them and wield thunder (if you have it) or sleep them. b:surrender Idk what to say, really.

PvP gets more fair around level 80 for everyone, and its uphill in the 90s for clerics.
Navarre was your everyday veno, until she learned her true form. Now she's fox walloping and purging over and over again.. all for a deep stinging, head hunting, wind pushing Assassin. Will there be inner harmony and myriad rainbows? But of course! Yuri&Lemon Find it on Fanfiction XD "Discovering Sanctuary" Chapter 2 is up ^_^

I'm a level 57 cleric currently and I've done plenty of PvP. Heres a few pointers for staying alive and dishing the damage.

    - Cures. Lots and lots of cures!
Seriously, we're clerics. And what better way to stay in the game than to heal ourselves in combat. If you can keep a tank alive while they're being wailed on by tough bosses then by goodness you can keep yourself topped up in a fight.

    - Physical defense.
Either shard for this or equip items with plenty of phys protection bonuses on them. If you're a crafter, this becomes a lot easier. I even had an arcane robe with phys defense bonuses that almost matched light armor! If you're in combat with a melee opponent or an archer, good defense is vital to your wellbeing. If you can't survive more than 2 hits, it wont matter how good your healing is.

    - Plume Shield.
This is a double edged sword since it eats away at our precious MP, but its a tradeoff worth taking. We have far greater MP than HP (usually) and this lets us siphon off a portion of the damage we take into MP damage instead. You'll need to keep a close watch on your MP bar so as not to end up in the red, but this one skill alone will keep you alive better than any other ability you posess.

    - Never forget to remain on the offensive!
Cure yourself, keep yourself buffed, but for goodness sake don't forget your goal of beating the opponent. If you're too focused on staying alive you won't have time to attack back, and the fight will drag on. Staying on the offensive forces the opponent to play defensively, and ultimately gives you the advantage. Use Plume Shot for arcane armor targets and magic for heavies. Light armored targets you can use a mix of both, but stick to your faster skills -- you might need to heal in a pinch.

    - Genie skills
Genies are invaluable in PvP. With good skills, it can turn the tide of a fight in your favour. Holy Path is great for damage avoidance against melees while you recover, extreme poison increases the damage you deal to them by a good percentage, Qi Manipulation (love this one) drains enemy MP so that melee's can't use their skills. Mages tend to have far greater MP, so the effect on them is minimal, but it still has its uses.

Last but by no means least...

    - Equipment
Seriously, gear is crucially important. Without decent gear your magic attack will suffer and your damage and heals will be weaker. Ensure that you keep it up to date if you're an avid PvP'er. Your allies will commend you for it in PvE and your enemies will loathe you for it in PvP.

I'm sure someone can add something more poignant with their level 9x cleric experience, but these tips have kept me alive in the majority of my fights. I've been in countless battles against players, so im no stranger to PvP and I have the satisfaction of knowing I've won most of them.

    Good luck and happy huntings!

Dont feel so bad. b:chuckle I've been wondering the same thing since the beginning. I have always been the supporter in our group of friends (instances, fb, bh, bosses etc..) and havent had all that much pvp experience (other than dying really fast b:embarrass) I've only recently, maybe last 10 lvls or so, started to feel an iota more confident and have started to put more thought into which skills to use etc, when to heal, run, attack. I think as the other more experienced clerics have stated, as you lvl and get better gear and have more pvp experience, you will naturally on your pvp skills. Personally I think clerics will always be squishy b:surrender but i believe with more experience you will increase your chances at surviving. I think a really good point the above poster pointed out was just be prepared at all times. Stay buffed, watch your surroundings and have that holy path ready if someone drops on your head.

Plume Shell... sleep... m debuff (unless its a robe of course than p debuff)...cyclone, if their HP doesnt move... RUN!!!! lol
Clerics arent really built for it, until they get a lot higher, and have great to awesome equips. I know, some people disagree, but look at the equips on the level 60/70 clerics who can PK like that, its not your basic cleric. We are broke from the cost of leveling our toon until the costs drop a bit.
You have some options, but they will hurt you in other ways, you could go light armor and have a bit more survivability but you are gimping your magic. You could just "practice" PKing so that you can kite very well while hitting them here and there between heals. Just dont forget your plume shell, and debuff. Its very helpful.

    o.o

When you get it to a high enough level, sleep (Chromatic Seal) is your best friend. Use that time to debuff and stack IHs, or to give yourself a chance to heal up when you're near death.

Dimensional Seal works very well vs melees, especially in tight spots.

Air fight whenever possible, and use drop damage reduction wisely.

Plume shell before predicted stuns, pot hp + mp when you can't move.

Practice dueling with other classes of all levels and get a feeling for your limits (consider charms). If you know you can't kill them, focus on survival until you get to safe zone or get help.

Know what the other classes' skill icons are and what they do. Get decent gear.

edit: on second thought. If you're fighting a bm/barb that might use TE, don't air fight. Jump on and around buildings/trees, etc . Practice jumping over barbs and non-pole bms in between whirlwinds. If you time it right, they will barely be able to hit you.
