2 charcters-one ip-adress-same time

is it possible to be with two characters on the same server at the same time?
whats if i download the game twice?.... can i play with two chars from on laptop?(ip-adress)

    You cannot play two characters on one computer.

    If they're on the same account, it's not possible to play two characters on two computers either b:chuckle

    yes u can play 2 char from different accounts on the same machine.

    assuming you have an absurdly powerful computer. and run one of the copies sandboxed

    you can but you will get banned.....on both accounts for multiclienting.

    You can get banned for running the game on the same computer twice.

    Multiple, actual computers, running 1 copy of the game on each, it is fine.
    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

    Most people run 2 clients on 1 PC to raise characters through bots and eventually sell the accounts for real money. That's why it's bannable. Farmers and botters are a plague in every MMORPG but especially free ones. Even if your intentions are not to cheat there's no way for GMs to make sure you're talking the truth.

    I don't understand that reasoning, because wouldn't you be able to do that with two computers just as easily?

    We should have a public in-game auction for the things that get confiscated from banned "bad guys". Like a police auction. But alas, they get destroyed.

    Not as cheap as running on 1. You know every budget PC comes with 2 cores nowadays... But actually I've met a guy with 8 PCs at home^^

    Yea speaking of having a lot of pc's.... I have 2 normal pc's in the same room...right next to eachother...and I have one laptop ... : )
