Water pets recommendations ?

Greetings,

I was wondering what would make a good water pet for a level 37 veno.
Friends have recommended me Celestial Plumpfish but I have no idea how to get that.

    Celestial Plumpfish is only available at lvl 80 and above, just because it's lvl 80. It's basically an underwater tank. Awesome hp, def, and comes with 2 lvl 4 bash skills. But at 37, it's really difficult to even find a good water pet.

    From my experience, I tamed the undines at my levels and just cycled through them by lvls. Whenever I got a water quest, I would dump my old lower lvl pet for a higher lvl undine. I kept doing that till I finally got a plumpfish

    Go in to the water near orchid temple south of arch, there's some 35 stuff there, some of which is tamable.

    Alternately, the slightly lower level turtle should do you fine.

    yea, would be best if u just tame the underwater pets as u go along. Just taming the pets u do for quests which require u to kill underwater monsters. U could also try taming a turtle (best underwater PhyDefence pet) and just lvling it up, but i do not recommend it. It is just a waste of time petlvling water pets.

    I agree, would be best to just tame them as you go along. I didn't encounter that many water quests, nor find many water mobs to grind a pet on, so I ended up getting rid of my water pet. I have the plumpfish now though, any quests I came across I asked friends/guildies for help with.

    It's my perception that the Plumpfish is a good keeper. There are long stretches though where it's leveling could be ignored. An example is when fishing in the Sea of Isolation is no longer worth doing, but then you gain access to Unicorn Forest, or get the OMA for Plumpfish Mermaids where you can catch it up quick.

    if ur looking for a good water tanker the lvl51 tortoise everlasting is a great water tank pet.
    lvl101 LA/AA demon veno ftw, 15251 hp buffed, 13508 buffed pdef in human. able to use tt100 fists at 5 aps w/ genie. all from 2 years of work... WASTED
