I was able to obtain a pounce scroll for my sawfly. Flesh ream and bash are both on it as well. Was trying to decide on a good forth skill. Was thininking
"slow" or the one that decreases physical defence. Any opinions.

ps "save your money for a nix" is not what im looking for lol

I'd not bother with pierce - it just duplicates ironwood, poorly.

What do you want to USE this sawfly for? Threaten and Tough are both pretty good choices for fighting bosses. (Tough only if your pet is itslef tanking)

Of course, you can't go wrong with a second bash variant...

Yes as stated in the title, I'll be using it for pvp. I don't think another bash varient is what im looking for. That would require me to remember to activate it every 8 sec throughout a pvp encounter. i think i will go with slow in case the pounce fizzles, unless anyone has other advice?

Consider shriek? Even harder to time, but a cancel is a good thing (and slow doesn't do it).

Bash on auto means you only need to remember to trigger the fleshream, and adds a fair bit of damage.

you should save your money and.. :p

if money is not a concern and you don't want to try for a nix, maybe get a pet buff skill like claw?

It would be a total waste on a sawfly. There are a handful of other pets that would be useful even to a veno in possession of a herc and nix that would benefit from Claw. Claw is worth ~1/4 of a Nix. Blessing that the Nix comes with can sell for more than the Nix. On top of this, a decent set of 89+ skills can cost more than a Herc or Nix and benefit the Veno less.
Be kind: Help the GMs to depopulate the servers.

i apologize for my subtle sarcasm. the OP already put pounce on his sawfly. so i'm just following suit.

i agree with tweakz tho.. if you're willing to put so much money into your sawfly.. why not try for a nix?

Go big or go home. Sawfly does not compare to the nix even with millions spent leveling its skills + adding legendary skills.
I was early taught to work as well as play,
    My life has been one long, happy holiday;
Full of work and full of play-
I dropped the worry on the way-
And God was good to me everyday.
