Shadow Teleport in DUngeons?

I was just wondering why you cant use Shadow Teleport in DUngeons? what if someone wants to pk you and u cant stun them o.O? b:shocked

    My guess is cause the programmers arent too bright. We already know that Veno pets can run thru closed doors and all they can say is "hey! dont do that or we'll ban you!". They probably disabled it to prevent cheating doors & thru walls & the like.

    Quite obviously... they don't intend on letting players teleport through HHs/FBs so easily. Else you could lure "?" bosses from god knows where back through loads of mobs/doors/walls without doing anything. Just use Windpush/Maze Steps/Holy Path instead..
    Wondering how much longer these **** packs are going to be around.

    think what wizards/archers/clerics/venos/psychics have to do if someone decides to attack in a dungeon....

    me wondering why you hasn't complained about the other classes not being able to "get away".

    me thinking this be a weak attempt at making an excuse to get past mobs and stuff easily.

    o and did me mention wizards have no stun only 1 seal and a very short sleep? (and the sleep is a 79 skill.....which cost quite alot to make.....)

    Actually... wizards have a stun. Level 85 wizards can stun for 5.7 seconds, 94% of the time.

    Of course, each use of this stun costs two sparks and has a five second channeling time, and you need 3 million coins and almost that much spirit to get it to where it will stun for 5.7 seconds.

    But you could ask a polite assassin to stand there for five seconds so you can channel your stun?

    sins are meelee, all the meelee characters have stuns...

    And yes going invisible is an advantage, but as soon as we attack we arent invisible anymore, so it isnt as if we could just kill you an you wouldnt know what happened. What's more our stealth level has to be higher than your awareness level for it to work in the first place so it isnt a huge advantage unless youre a higher level than them anyway (well not quite but near enough).

    AND what's more if youre fighting a sin that goes stealth just DB they cant come close to you then without getting hit... and therefor exiting stealth.

    It is generally the case that meelee beats mag in pvp, there are obvious exceptions and well built mag chars who can win, but as an over-all average a barb will beat a cleric.

    So please dont complain about sins beating mag chars in pvp, up against a BM who can evade stuns & a barb who has so much hp that our attacks hardly put a dent in 'um sins will loose 90% of the time, whether they can go invisible or not (maybe going invisible is good for running away if youre gunnu get your **** kicked)

    honestly sin is the most challenging char to play, I have a pure mag wiz and a cleric. The pure mag wiz is nowhere near as difficult as people make out, you just make a combo to kill the mobs before they reach you. Maybe that's hard for some but if you have an IQ over 4 im pretty sure you can manage it. After lv59 with sutra this becomes even easier.

    With sins that is not the case, you HAVE to go close range which means that the mob cant drop before it reaches you. Fair enough our evasion may be high so it might miss a few times, but that is to do with our build and not to do with the class and is no-more unfair than an archers evasion. After-all if you WANTED to you could make an LA BM to match the evasion (silly, but you COULD do it showing that it's the build not the class).

    You have to use combos to try and stop the mob from attacking, but you cant stop it indefinitely!

    If sin's are so difficult to play, surely they should have some kind of up-side? I mean if it was just a squishy meelee char, with a high death-rate, low hp, low defense, close range attacks but has a good attack & crit rate, im pretty sure nobody would play them.


    But back to the topic: You can teleport through walls providing that you have a target on the other side of the wall. While that is the case, you cannot lure in the same way a veno can. So =/ I don't know whether you could say it was an advantage to be able to tele through walls in a dungeon. I suppose in FB29 you could just have a high level sin tele through the door and kill all the mobs & quingzi with the squad on the other side. But if the sin was a high enough level to do that it would hardly be an advantage anyway cuz it would be easy to go and open the door.

    However I pressume it was to stop tele'ing through doors... Although honestly I dont think that is a great reason, i mean a cleric couldnt follow you... And what's more you wouldnt be able to do it much anyway because you need a target!

    Just because a barb beats a cleric in PvP doesn't mean melee beats magic. Someone hasn't seen wizard's endgame damage.

    i have indeed seen a wiz's endgame dmg, and as i explained "over-all-average"
    meelee does not always beat mag

    but if you take your typical random selected barb, and make him fight your typical randomly selected wizard, 7/10 times the barb would win imo.

    And what's more mag chars CAN beat a sin, but on average a sin would probably beat a mag char.

    Don't PK in a dugeon?

    this idc what kind off pvp you would want in a dungeon except a duel which isnt real pvp anyway(its no real pvp cause i can lose to people who i would beat in real pvp or atleast arent capable off killing me by far due to charm ticks)
    its impossible to always do the right thing we all make mistakes i am not different from that
    just try to be a good person

    I'm ok for it not being able to be used in dungeons.
    HOWEVER Tournament and Arena is dungeon too, pvp/pk oriented, assasin can't use it down there, make us "easy" target for any caster.
    leave it out for TT/FC/Lunar and so on. but should be anabled for Tournament and Arena's

    although one thing ill say is that i was just in a dungeon & i wanted to use shadow teleport to port next to a running mob, and it actually put me at a disadvantage that i couldnt use it =/ which was kinda annoying...
