It depends on the purpose. Grinding? Solo Mini-bosses? Bosses? PvP?

How about answering it in PVE terms. I get the impression he is a PVE player, like me. Personally, I ordinarilly use

    Stun>Frost>Normal>Normal>Pushback>Normal...

or for Increased Defense/Increased Life I do the same combo but with Aim Low first (then pummel enemy with my fists if needed)

    Frost->Normal->Normal->Knockback->Normals until dead

I have been using that for quite a long while.

Whenever I start grinding, if I have no Chi, I swap Frost for Stunning Arrow. For Increased Life or Increased Defense mobs, I like using Aim Low instead of Frost.
If you disregard what I say because of who I am or because of the contents of what I said, you are a fool.

Everyone wants to be different, but when you're different you wish you were normal.

Just takes some experience killing the certain monster. Yes, frost arrows ---> normal ---> normal ---> knockback ---> normal is the usual combo, but sometimes monsters need another viable macro in order to not get hit. Just toy around, experiment, isn't that what archers do? b:chuckle

Yeah, this one sounds really good to me...if the monster is TOO STRONG you can always add Take Aim in the beginning, that would take of quite a lot of the monster's HP.

But yea, this is what I plan on using post level 40, try it out see if it works for you...and also because the archer skills are pretty fast casts, you maybe able to substitute one of the normals AFTER PUSHBACK with Quickshot.

In terms of DPS, quickshot shouldn't really be used in grinding unless you have a crossbow.

The entire length of casting this skill is 1.6seconds and you fire faster than this with a bow or sling meaning you are using 1.6seconds for a skill that does normal hit damage and some really small constant. Barely worth the effort unless you are using a crossbow.

I don't think anyone got what he was asking. He didn't ask "Whats a good pve combo", he's asking what shortcut keys he should use.

Personally, mine's kinda messed up. Its:

1: Earthflame (Zeal genie luring skill)
    2: Fly
3: ○ Blazing Arrow (My 3 key is broken, so I click it)
    4: Pick Up Item
5: Auto Spark Macro (Repeat > shoot > spark)
6: PVE grinding Macro (Frost Arrow > shoot > repeat > shoot > knockback)
    7: Aim Low
    8: Wings of protection
    9: Mount

I tend to use the F keys more:

    F1: Knockback Arrow
    F2: Take Aim
    F3: Spark
    F4: Normal shot
    F5: Tree of protection
    F6: Thunderous Blast
    F7: Sharpened Tooth Arrow
    F8: Winged pledge.

I tend to play with 2 rows on each panel, and click them most of the time. I have F2-F4 set up for the take aim trick, 2 is fly, 4 is grab items. Other than those, I seldom use the short cut key I tend to click.

For you, I'd suggest you set it up how you like. You need to develop your own play style. I can offer a few suggestions however:

    - Make "Fly" and "Mount" shortcut keys.
    - If you're not cramped for space, open up a second layer of panels. Now you have twice as much room for skills. This should be enough for everything, even with some room for inventory items you want easy access to.
    - DO NOT make high cost situational skills a key press skill. Accidently casting lightning strike isn't bad, however accidently casting Barrage of Arrows, or Stormrage Eagleon at a stupid time may get everyone killed, and you lose sparks ;.;. I find Barrage of arrows sits nicely on a second row where its easy to click, but I can't accidently press it.

However Its mostly personaly choice. Play with your inventory and skill list closed, and see what you need the most, and make those things you can press easily.
