Well... now I know I might get bashes and "BUY TEH PCS, THEY ISH TEH 1337 AND MACS ISH FOR NOOBS" comments but seriously now... both PCs I have at home here have turned to ****. The laptop I played on ran beautifully until it just randomly stopped working altogether. Now, I don't use the word "randomly" lightly. When I say it, I mean it worked fine at my friend's house, I took it home, tried to turn it on, and now it can't stay on 5 mins without turning itself off and it has become slow as molasses. All I have left is my dad's desktop and it's no better.

GETTING TO THE POINT: All I have left that's at all reliable is my iMac. And imagine my distress when i found out this game doesn't run on Macs :\ I just think it'd be great if you could come out with a client that runs on a Mac OS because I really don't want to have to spent anymore cash on PC fixes or new laptops. And I especially don't want to spend a fortune on a Windows OS to put on the Mac just to run this game. If that's too difficult, sorry for wasting your time. Just thought I'd put it out there that Mac users love this game too b:victory

    They don't support it. Macs = art + girls.(cept for HON) PC's= games.

    They don't support it? Wait, clarify. Who doesn't support what? Mac doesn't support PWI or PWI doesn't support Mac? ...Or Mac doesn't support games in general? Because that's not entirely true then.

    PWI is not supported on MAC's for my knowledge.

    Your laptop can be many issues, and my first suggestion is trying to find someone with another power supply and see if that helps out. Also I would suggest wipping your Laptop clean and starting the little fellow off on a clean slate once you can get it to stay on.

    Back to MAC talk. This is the main reason why people are reluctant to buy MAC which are better machines. Too many companies will not create another game made for the MAC.

    MAC's cost more but if 100% of companies released both types I am willing to bet there would be a huge purchasing of MAC made.

    I wish they would make a mac client too (I use a mac pro). But the fact is that mac and windows share very little in all the scripting forms, so how most games run is very different. More games are starting to be made available for mac (EA has signed a contract so all of there games have a mac version), but almost all mmo's are left out.

    As for a solution, I use bootcamp, have a second hard drive with windows xp 32 bit installed. If you have Leopard your even better off, as the disc already comes with drivers which save alot of hassle finding the updated ones online. Good luck.

    I thought there were solutions in the tech forum as to how to make the PWI client work on a mac...Though it would be nice to actually see a client for Mac users, because there's so few options for our friends with those silly little laptops. Not that there's anything wrong with them.
