'Brevity is the soul of wit'. In other words, you talk alot, for someone who does not have alot. Stop QQ'ing Exodus, they have land, you don't. So whatever they're doing is more productive then whatever you've and yours have done.

You're confusing wit with ignorance, seeing as what I've said has had VERY little to do with your precious land. If we really cared about how much land you had over us, we would've caved into your interminable requests to merge with you by now. (Which btw, MonTrey has once again asked our leader to merge with us. And once again we've given him the same answer. Will he ever learn?) If you really think we "don't have a lot", then do explain why you're so adamant in wanting us so badly? Or do you want to avoid my talking points once more and point to your land count?

my honest opinion, based on all my collected info from everyone i know

order of guild strength, as of this post:

    1) Empire
    2) Insight
    3) Infamy and Resolve (don't have much info about infamy, but they seem strong)
    4) Aurora (sorry guys, but ya'll are going to be taken out very soon)

any other guilds fall into one of the following categories:

    1) not a TW guild, or not on map yet
    2) not worthy of mention >_>

again, this is just my honest opinion... trying to be unbiased in it (yes, i'm in Resolve)

I think it's hilarious that people just went by the number of territories each faction owned, and not the people in the faction. DREAMS had plenty of land- but now they aren't even considered to be a "superpower" because of their loss to infamy. XD Sorry DREAMS, don't mean to pick on you guys.
RIP Resolve. You guys still owe me TW pay. XD

    Varden- <3 you all!

I'm not putting an ordered list together quite yet, but as of now those guilds certainly are among the top.

For a PvE server, one of the only ways you can really measure a guild's strength is through TW, as inaccurate and overgeneralized as that may be.

I know that DREAMS, Nightmare, and all the other lands that have recently lost territory are still indeed strong factions (certainly stronger than mine), but using your example in the case of DREAMS, losing to Infamy as fast as they did didn't earn them much of a consolation prize.

Resolve has noob leadship and when it has noob leaders can the faction really go anywhere?

Exodus has a pro leader but i don't see this faction becoming the best on server, but they could verywell own lands on TW for a while.

I thought more of Dreams before they got rolled so now i have no clue. Those South Americans are too poor to be big Cash Shopers like Infamy.

Insight is on its way down, but things can change.

    Aurora not that powrful ...

Infamy is well organized and has powerful members if they are staying active I don't know.

Empire has had ups and downs in people 80+ right now its looking powerful as far was levels and gears go. So here is my list of the superpower factions. (unbiased lol) Empire is also really well organized.

    1. Empire
    2. Infamy
    3. Everyone else

It's hard to say whether or not Resolve has noob leaders, considering I haven't found myself in a leadership position. All I can do as a member of the faction is try to do my part and make suggestions when needed. If I get a leadership position in the future, I'll be able to make valid judgements.

That being said, as leadership is passed and people become more experienced, the noob issue is inevitably alleviated. Saying Resolve not going anywhere due to poor leadership is shortsighted, to say the least.

I think it's funny ppl say Aurora is not that powerful or should be rated below Resolve for example.

Based on what? Last week's TW vs Insight? Some ppl said Aurora would lose in like 1 hr, others said they'd win, in the end no one was right about that. Not that it matters much. Hook up any of the top factions in a TW and you'd probably end up with sorta the same result.

Either way, you can't base anything on the fact that a couple of the top-factions steam-rolled non-factor-factions and one *proper* PvP TW, that's all I'm saying.

    bring on the pvp TWs

Was quite surprised to learn the other day that the leadership of Resolve has already been handed off... considering the server is still more or less brand new, that does not sound like a good sign....

Just to speak in general terms, (Im sure it happens all over the place, not just to Resolve, they just happen to be the current example) I am not sure how you would expect faction officers to gain any exp or build any kind of loyalty if the core staff are either leaving or jumping ship that quick....

The original leader left for reasons that could not have been avoided. Discouraging, yes, but we still have the same core that we started with, aside from him. He may be coming back, he may not. I still consider him part of the faction, though. Hence the "For Forks!" world chats if we score a victory. You can't judge a leadership by situational happenings, but how the event is resolved. (no pun intended)

what exactly are you basing your information on that Resolve has "noob leadership"?

we happen to have PWI veterans as our leadership, those who have been playing this game a long time and have experienced just about everything that an officer should...

i am possibly the one exception to this, as i have basically zero TW experience before i joined Resolve, however i'm not like other people, in that i learn all i need to know about something in a matter of minutes :)

btw- if you're basing your opinion on levels, then GTFO now, because that is a fail foundation for such discussions as are in this thread... everyone's level will balance out eventually, and then it'll be based only on pocketbook and skill... and i know Resolve has a handful of heavy CS'ers in it already :P

yes, Forks, our original and only TRUE leader, has had to step down for the time being... however he will eventually be coming back, and as Inabikari has said, we drive forward with passion on his behalf, to show him that we WILL succeed, regardless of what drama arises

My experience was based off of being in resolve for several weeks. Now i did hear it changed hands but already heard stuff like the current leader is stealing all the TW monies. I am not in a position to pass judgment on whatever leadership is there now that it has changed.

But the previous leader was a noob, and for a faction with a noob leader the hill is steep and slippery. Point at one faction that does well with a noob leader and i'll point at all the rest that succeed. The leader is the head of the snake and the faction rises and falls with the leader.

And if the leaders have been playing PW for years then why farm new recruits for TW advice lol. I don't have anything against resolve but thats what my assertion was based on, personal experience.

farming members for TW advice? wth are you talking about? he asked for people's views on things, unlike other TW factions where the leaders just make decisions and the members be damned...

current leader stealing TW money? sounds like you talked to some of the members of the faction who are just pissed off because TW pay is based on levels and contribution...

sorry, but Resolve is one of the best factions i've ever had the honor of being a member of... and those who would speak against us are either 1) jealous cause they couldn't make the cut, or 2) drama llamas that are being weeded out

    1. i think almost anyone 60+ can join any of the "top factions"
    2. this is pointless, factions merge, ppl change facs it will be 3 top factions in a month or two.
    3. atm the "top factions" are: Insight, Empire, Resolve, Aurora, Infamy, Exodus and Dreams, why? lvls, lands, organization etc...and Dreams can become a superfaction if they merge or something...is too early too say they cant be a factor in the future. same with all those 7 facs.

Exodus absorbed most of Dreams. Well, not that it was loud or anything, but thats the fact. Dunno if I should tell it here tough, would be a nice surprise for anyone who decide to attack us in TW. b:chuckle
