Are they worth it 0.o?
And if so, which one should I get first?

yes. elven elacrity.
to run away after your holy path is used upyoutube.com/chezedude0 -
Does it use chi or mana?0

get your genie to atleast 130 energy give it 50 mag then holy path > Eleven Alacrity > holy path again. seriously 20 seconds of 15m/s is enough to get away from anyone and is also nice to catch up bh squads0

79 anti stun/alcracity
I probably use it most at instances or for rebirth when the barb anti stun runs out.. its a life saver..
For pvp usage.. i rarely use it.. except for like chasing 1 person or runin away.. but i rarely have 1 spark extra.. n if i do.. i rather use wings of grace.
79 Evasion skil
Its useful in tws to get away from archers or bms, this skill doesnt require 1 spark .. so its more easy to spam.. the bad thing is the 3min cooldown n that takes yar evasion buff away.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Im just wondering if its worth the 1m spirit and 20 apoc pages..
That 1m spirit could go to Barrage of Arrows, or Sharpened tooth0 -
If you have neither Barrage nor Sharptooth, at least get those Barrage to 1 and max Sharptooth.
The lvl 79 skills are not expensive; just get both of them. Apocalypse Pages used to go for 300k each on HT, which translate to 6m on pages alone, for a single skill. People were able to obtain skills back then. You should be able to acquire the skills now, when it is much cheaper. Calling them expensive or hard-to-get is an admission that you are are not as good as the archers of "old".0 -
The price of the pages don't matter to me, Im talking about the 1m spirit it costs for 1 skill.
Im wondering if that 1m spirit could be better spent at 79 to max barrage or sharpened tooth, or even Aim Low.0 -
Unless you are spending an inordinate amount of SP on genies, you should be fine.
Sharptooth maxes at lvl 85, by the way.0 -
I spend all my money on skills, thats why I am always low on spirit. I'm at level 76 right now and only have around 200k Spirit.
Okay so Sharpened tooth maxes at 85, more of a reason to hold onto 1m spirit in my opinion, since I always seem to be at a shortage, since it is more useful than the 79 skills.
I'm just asking if the skills are worth it, you don't have to bring up other things about how im admitting to not being as good as the decrepit archers of the past, all you have to do is tell me if they are worth it.0 -
Yes, they worth it, though this is mainly b/c you will have a lot of spare SP in the 80s. There are no new skills for you to learn until level 89. You may not be able to afford them now (in terms of SP), but you can easily afford it later.0
-
Thank you.
Which one do you think is more useful, the evasion buff or the speed/anti-stun one?0 -

If you PvP quite a bit, I do recommend Elven Alacrity, but prioritise your other skills first.
Have you acquired level 10 in stun or aim low?
How about the Metal skills?
Until those are at level 10, don't touch the 79 skills imo.0 -
For PvE, they are both about the same in uselessness. Elven Alacrity is replaced by Holy Path. However, as mentioned by someone previously, you can use them successively to run really quickly. Since I do not have Holy Path, I use Elven Alacrity for the cube teleport. I never use Blessing of Condor unless I'm tanking a physical boss.
I don't PvP, so I cannot give an informed opinion regarding that.0 -
Here are my skills:
Bow Mastery - 10
Blazing Arrow - 10
Winged Blessing - 10
Flight Mastery - 0 (ew)
STUNS/SLOWS
Frost Arrow - 6
Knockback Arrow - 1
Stunning Arrow - 10
Aim Low (Pace) - 1 (I figure it's already decent, should I max this now also?)
DEFENSIVE
Winged Shell - 10
Wings of Protection - 7
Wings of Grace - 1
AOE (Area of Effect)
Wingspan - 1
Thunderous Blast - 1 (I dont like the cast time, should I max it now?)
Sharpened Tooth Arrow - 6 (I'm currently working on leveling this more)
Barrage of Arrows - 6
MELEE
Winged Pledge - 1
OTHER SHOTS
Lightning Strike - 10
Thunder Shock - 10
Deadly Shot - 6 (Is this an effective skill?)
Take Aim - 10
Quickshot - 10
Viscious Arrow - 1
Serrated Arrow - 1
Stormrage Eagleon - 0 (ew)
Any advice or criticism is welcome0 -

STUNS/SLOWS
Frost Arrow - 6 You may begin to use frost less and less now so leave this unless you have problem grinding and feel the additional damage and slow is worth it
Knockback Arrow - 1
Stunning Arrow - 10
Aim Low (Pace) - 1 (I figure it's already decent, should I max this now also?) Since most of your abilities are at 10, I'd recommend working on this before attempting to get either of the lv79 skills. PvE I still prefer elven alacrity if not for the speed, the anti stun is very useful in instances! PvP, Alacrity still is more important imo.
DEFENSIVE
Winged Shell - 10
Wings of Protection - 7 Take this to lv10 when you can
Wings of Grace - 1
AOE (Area of Effect)
Wingspan - 1
Thunderous Blast - 1 (I dont like the cast time, should I max it now?) This is possibly a solution to your HA targets in PvP. PvE sees little use in this apart from it being AoE. Level it if you have problems with HA in PvP and can spare the spirit.
Sharpened Tooth Arrow - 6 (I'm currently working on leveling this more) Level this if you run instances a lot
Barrage of Arrows - 6 Level this if you do RB or TW quite a bit
MELEE
Winged Pledge - 1
OTHER SHOTS
Lightning Strike - 10
Thunder Shock - 10
Deadly Shot - 6 (Is this an effective skill?) Leave this if you plan to level BoA or STA. Take Aim will on average hit harder at 8x with a decent weapon
Take Aim - 10
Quickshot - 10
Viscious Arrow - 1
Serrated Arrow - 1
Stormrage Eagleon - 0 (ew) lol b:chuckle
Any advice or criticism is welcome

thank you legerity, what is your opinion on thunderous blast? The cast time is huge.0

I made an edit on that skill. Refer to above.
Also on an interesting note, you will not have "spare" spirit until level 97 if you have every skill available to learn (inc. sage/demon skills) so don't waste it on genies.0 -
Okay thank you, I think i'll take thunderous blast to 10 now, and maybe Aim Low to 10 as well.
I never use spirit on genies, I'm set as far as genies go, I posted a question on the fourms about it awhile ago xP0 -

Had to make a new post to alert you to one more thing.
Since Assassins are becoming among the ranks as days pass by, do consider leveling wingspan and pledge. They will come in handy.
Sorry I forgot about this as I never paid much attention to these skills prior to the TB expansion.0 -
I have a tactic to fight every class except assassin
It's frustrating, I never win against them. I feel that in some way they are over-powered against archers, I've honestly never seen an archer kill an assassin 1v1.
It's very upsetting, to feel like all the training I put in my character is rendered useless when an assassin attacks me. I've lost to assassins 10-15 levels below me and they were "decently" equipped. I have full TT70 and a +4 ThunderCrack, I thought i'd fair better.0 -

I'm no expert in PvP, but I believe if you can counter their first few hits, you stand a fairly high chance against them. It doesn't matter if they force stealth once you break their chain as long as you can consistently counter their openings if they surprise you again after all their skills have recharged. This I can theorise to be much easier to execute once you have demon wingspan.
Until then, it depends on proper timing on skills/genie and apoths. This is also where Alacrity shines; it will be helpful against the Assassin class.0 -
Demon Wing-span? what does it do?0
-
DarkHam - Harshlands wrote: »Demon Wing-span? what does it do?
○Wingspan
Range 5 meters
Mana 445.0
Channel 1.0 seconds
Cast 1.0 seconds
Cooldown 6.0 seconds
Weapon Any
Requisite Cultivation Aware of the Void
Use the divine power of the Winged Elves to attack enemies within 8-meter-radius
around you, inflicting base physical damage plus 4347.0f, knocking them
back 9.0f meters, and casting a level 5 Winged Shell on yourself upon a successful hit.
Demon version casts a Level 5 Winged Shell on yourself upon a successful hit.
This effectively reduces a hit to 100-200 damage every 7 seconds (inc chan) while hitting them fairly hard at the same time.0 -
0.0 thats AWESOME0

Yes it is. I have been saved by this numerous times. I managed to hold and tank abomination in FB89 with this skill long enough for the cleric to d/c and reconnect and heal. This is also very valuable in "tanking" some of the HAs in PvP.
Do note that you get the shell regardless if the skill hits or not. If you miss on wingspan, you still get the shell. If you activate the skill and the target dies, and you're in mid-chan you also get the shell.0 -
Condor is quite good in PVP against BMs after being stunned and when dueling other archers. Just keep in mind it overwrites your normal evasion buff so you will be left with **** evasion afterwards.
It would probably be good against assassins but I havent met any high level assassins yet.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
