Unable to connect to server

I couldn't find an answer for this in the FAQ thread. I get to the login screen and login. It goes to another screen saying the elapsed time is 40 seconds or something like that. After so many seconds a dialog pops up saying, "Unable to connect to server".
Normally, I get that when my internet has gone down. I just reconnect to fix it. That's when I'm at home.
When I'm at school, it happens even while I'm connected. I'm connected to the internet through the campus wireless. I'm assuming the problem has something to do with a block or something. Is there any way to connect to the server?
I really want to be able to play on campus since I have to wait hours between classes. Lol

Edit: The problem is not with the servers themselves. This is not the issue other people are having. I simply cannot connect because of my school's connection. I can't connect to the server on another game either, and that game has never had problems with it's server. So I know that it is some sort of block the campus has.

    Don't think it's the campus fault... I can't connect via my good old DSL at home...
    Time is never wasted when you are wasted all the time.

    I can connect but ingame i have so high ping that i cant even dig a mine or sit on mount....
    My vent ping is 9, so dunno whats the problem.

    Im having the same problem. i try to log in and it goes to the countdown to connect to server but it never connects. and all the servers do it.

    I have problems only with east coast servers...

    I have the same problem except all the east servers work for me, its just the west servers that won't log me in which is a problem since my characters are on a west server! This started happening to me only a few days ago and its quite annoying not being able to play my characters.

    I have char on east coast server and it started for me about 10-20min ago, dunno whats the problem, all west coast servers works fine for me.

    I know it's a problem with the school's network. It won't let me connect to another game, and I don't have these login problems at home unless my wireless connection has died. It's not the game itself or it's servers.
