Rendering problem?

Hello, I was playing PW and had logged in as my assassin. I teleported to the town after completing the beginner quest and was suddenly kicked out and presented with the Error Report form.

When I logged back on (this time using my cleric), I noticed that the game did this:

I decided to log on as my psychic in an attempt to fix the graphics, but I noticed problems with that character as well.

I am currently in the process of verifying my download, but am unsure as to if this is a hardware problem or a rendering bug.

Any info you can give me would be great.

    Addition: It seems that this occurs whenever I log on to a Tideborn character, and I can fix it by exiting and then re-logging into the game.

    Does anyone else have this problem?

    check to see if the fan on your video card is still running!

    Your computer or video chipset could be overheating or otherwise malfunctioning, or it could be corrupted video drivers.

    I'm going to need some more information from you about your computer.

    Find out what the model number for your PC is. Check the documentation that came with your PC, or look on the back or bottom of your PC for the model Number.

    Please tell us the manufacturer's name of your system too! (Like HP, Dell, Toshiba, etc.)

    Next, go to Start, click on Run (or Search if using Vista/7), and type in dxdiag and press enter.

    Click on the Display tab, and then post here everything in the Device and Drivers boxes:

    Addition:

    It only seems to occur when I log in as a Tideborn. After it occurs, it affects all of my characters, but it only starts when I am a psychic or assassin. I can play for hours on my other charas and not have this issue.

    So I don't think it's my video card, since it's only affecting my Tideborns.

    It might be an effect that they have that your chipset doesn't like, so yes, it is relevant to ask that info from you.

    the developers of PWI apparently has trouble coding textures to be compatible with some types of video cards.

    so me would say it be most likely a rendering problem instead of your hardware being bad.

    My working theory is they are using a shader or other effect that some drivers or chipsets don't like. Hard to narrow down because it only occurs on a small number of systems. There are millions of possible configurations.

    did you mayhaps try with settings such as refraction turned off?

    try turning off/setting to lowest possible setting
    all teh graphical settings.

    might be an older chipset with ps 1/vs 1 or a LOW opengl (1.4 causes problems with PWI)
