I didn't started to really pvp, just some duels and a pvp instance. I see everyone talk about attack rate everywhere, got a friend who bought his rank 8 on sin already toob:shocked
But what do u think of chill of the deep skill in pvp in place of high attack rate?
and even at endgame if u rich enough, buy some refine, and shard all gear with attack lvl gem.
I was just wondering if the attack lvl and using skill might be better than the keep your target close to u and attack as fast as u can.

I still need to practice and play more pvp with sin, but in my mind for sin attack rate is pve and when pvp u might more go for chill of the deep.

well just pointing that after reading people saying attact rate every postb:surrender

The attack rate is more useful for long drawn out fights (like bosses, for instance).

For PvP, Chill will most likely be your best friend. PvP on an assassin is using your skills to incapacitate your opponent anyway, so you're most likely going to be spamming skills the majority of the time. So why not get 30% extra damage from those skills? b:dirty

Chill of the Deep + Tangling mire on LA or cloth makes all of your skills hit extremely hard.. You can also hit semi hard on barbs/bms with it aswell.. Chill of the deep imo is most certainly a must have for pvp.

i really think attack rate is devastating to the opponent, skill spamming is for BMs/barbs who arent fist. there are interval stacked fist BMs who tear through charmed barbs like wet toilet paper, once demon spark is added in for assassins; im pretty sure after you debilitate your enemy, youre going to melee him to death.

assassin = close range archer, why waste MP, when you can just rip through them with crits?

Pre 8x, simple auto attack + spark will do for arcane/LAs as they will have too low HP.

Closing into the 9X, CoD becomes better for PvP when everyone has better HP, enough to take a few hits and be able to kite around. You won't see many fights at 9X where you can just sit and auto attack someone while sparked. Much less when most of the fights are air battles and are far from a 1 vs 1 situation.

You can try to stealth -> approach target -> demon spark -> inner harmony -> maze steps -> immobilize -> auto attack

Yeah but I kinda agree with AndyNagato on this one. Using chill for PVP is definitely a good idea without interval gear. But if you are high/rich enough for stacked interval - you'll probably be able to hit about 4 times a sec under spark using daggers. Consider that with bloodpaint & crit damage :O.

and what about triple spark and chill of the deep and two shot the guy u fighting?
And even if I reach lvl 89 I won't chose a path without knowing what skill bonus they add, and then 'll have to see but pve wise I already take agro with just normal attack and sunsea strike to debuff, doubt I'll be able to use any demon spark without be the one actually tanking xD and blood paint in pvp won't save your **** xd

Do you really think we'll be able to 2-shot barbs or bms? I honestly don't know, and I have no idea, but I doubt it (especially barb).

I understand where you're coming from about bloodpaint in pvp, because of the damage reduction. It's a shame really, but have you seen that video with crazy claw barb that attacks 5 times a second? It's amazing, and I cant imagine how it would be like with BP. From what I hear, -interval is a good weapon against barbs so that's why I think it's important here.

Chill of the Deep is good for PVP since you basically will always use skills.

In PVE though, I never have it on, since the enemies stand there and take the hits, so they die faster to me without Chill of the Deep on.

Only BMs and Barbs will stand there and take the hits in PVP, in which case, I'd say playing without Chill of the Deep would probably be better.

But I don't know, since both those classes have a huge advantage over Assassins.

+30 atk lvl is a good thing to have. sins will be using skills most of the time in pvp anyway.

however if u have high -interval gear and use WE+spark+PD+melee u will be critting like a mad man and u will be critting HARD. i dont see how even a barb will take that much dmg especially if u have a good genie with tangling mire/extreme poison. your crit rate will be thru the roof while having a insanely fast atk speed. so using chill might not be ur best option if that is the case.

so ya it depends on the situation and what kind of gear u have. but maxing chill is definatly a priority no mamtter what. +30 atk lvl comes in handy always.

but what im hoping is that demon chill gets rid of the -atk speed debuff but that is only wishfull thinking xD

Hm, I can't see that happening.

    It'd be too overpowered.

It'd be nice to know what the demon and sage skills are though.
