HELP!
I realize I'm probably just a hopeless newb, but I tamed one of these the other day. I know it has a ranged attack because I've seen him use it, but when I have him out there is no ranged attack on the pet bar and whether he uses one of his three skills or I click generic attack he runs to melee range of the mob and slaps it!!??? b:shocked

This is NOT why I made space in my small pet bag for him...

Any assistance here would be greatly appreciated...

    Dont use skills.

    I didn't use skills...the generic attack 'skill' I referred to is the little wolf's head icon on the petbar with auto attack turned off...he still ran to the mob and melee'd

    just put the skill off - press right click on the skill that have the yellow square "Bash" -

    so I need to right click each of his 3 special skills on the pet bar to make them 'manual' and then he will ranged?...I'll try it...thanks in advance...b:pleased
