Thinkin' about doing a shop

I'm considering setting up a shop but I'm missing some actual drawn samples.

Could I get a volunteer to surrender their character? (drawing will be cartoony) I just need one or two people. Thanks :D!

    Not that I'm an expert in pricing, but basically I'd keep in mind two things:
    -How long does it take you to make these? How much effort?
    -Not everyone plays on your server. What's a reasonable amount a newbie-alt could farm to afford your work?

    (I kinda ignored the second one at first, to my detriment)

    Personally I'd think these would run between 1k and 5k, since they're highly stylized and lack all but the major identifying details. (That's not saying they're BAD, mind you, just that they express a different artistic level than say, Kyna's or Aliure's work). But that is my opinion only, and as I stated I'm hardly an expert.

    Each one takes about an hour.

    Yeah... this is the only way I can draw people. When it comes to drawing characters, highly toony is the only way to go. My real talent is with animals.

    My stuff ranges from just plain silly to realistic. I just don't know if there's a big market for people wanting to have their pets/mounts drawn. b:surrender

    Um... holy **** b:shocked that is some awesome art. I liked the "attempted minimal lines" best, but man, that is REALLY good. Your strange chibi-toons do you no justice at all.

    And in fact, I do have a request, which I would be quite willing to pay for if you can think of a reasonable price for such efforts. :)
    I'm quite fond of my bird, Nikodemus. (Real mount name is "Elder of the Skies", but seeing as how he's the only one, he can get away with any name he likes I suppose).
    In point of fact, I named him thus because he's... well, elderly, not as fast as a Swiftshadow, and has yellow eyes that remind me of the head rat of NIMH. Which brings me to the odd part of the request: could you draw my Niko with some stylized additions?
    Namely, elongated eyebrow-plumes, and a phoenix-like tail (similar to the Flametalon's, but white of course).
    Perhaps something like this is more your style?

    (edit: I linked a vid because it's honestly the best reference I have. Just skip to 1:30 or so if you'd rather not watch the whole thing. This pic isn't too bad a ref either.)

    Thanks! I'd be more than honored to draw your eagle. I don't know what the tail you mentioned looks like-- would you mind finding a couple of shots of that?

    We can figure out a price later on, I'm not terribly concerned. I'll work up a sketch and see how you like it. I found a pose in your video (which is wicked awesome by the way!) that I really like.

    Heh, I looked for Flametalon pics and couldn't manage to find any decent ones. However, if you skip to 2:29 here, there's a good shot of its tail. Doesn't have to specifically be a copy of the Flametalon's though, just something along those lines. I've tried on various occasions to sketch it m'self, but it always comes out like ****.
