Genie> Dex or Str?

Hello i just got a dex genie on my cleric alt and when i looked at most of the skills on etacomb a lot of the useful ones were enhanced mainly by Str or had good enhancements from both dex and str so i was wondering if i should make a dex/str genie and add points to both or just stay pure dex genie

    oh yeah i love a dex genie for cleric. U will want skills like badge of courage to stop stun and extreme poison for 30% more damage. Rainbow blessing gives u 10% more crit for a couple secs and holy path is nice since clerics are the worst runners.

    There are a couple others but it really depends on ur playing style

    thanks for the help also does that mean i should make it pure dex or should i still add both dex and str?

    It is entirely dependent on your skills.

    I would say if MOST or ALL of your skills are Dex based then add Dex....Like the above poster stated, it will depend on how you play and of course what you want to get out of the skill.

    I personally have a full Dex genie since all of the skill require Dex and those that need Str, the enhancement was not worth it for the amount needed imo.

    if u get ur vit at 50 u can use 2 skills back to back. i use a vit/dex build

    Looking at adding skills to my clerics Genie.

    I have a zeal 41/50 lucky points.

    skills on it so far are.

    Earth Flame - to lure
    Holy Path - Cause i'm slow b:sad
    Earthquake - cause it seemed it would be useful but I haven't had any use for it yet.

    Now I have the ability to reset everything on my genie. But I need some guidance from high level clerics on what my genie should look like lvl 80 +

    maybe because i dont have tons of hp, I put most of my point in str so my genie can cast Second Wind... works great when im healing someone and I'm getting hit at the same time! Second Wind is my lifesaver!!! =)

    I am looking at expel and absolute domain.

    As far as hp i use event pots. And dont' want to take up a space on my genie for a heal. I mean I'm a cleric.

    i now what you are saying... but when all heal breaks loose and you are now prime target and you cant run away... 2nd wind will save your life! Mine gives me almost full health when i cast it... Like i said its my life insurance lol

    My skillset is Earthflame, Extreme Poison, Holy path, and the stun one which has a chance to lower your elemental defence (though it never seems to). Oh yeah, and I've got 50 dex and working up my vit.

    Is extreme poison and it's 20% extra damage (according to ecatomb) really that useful for clerics? I haven't tried it but I imagine it working like this:

    If I fight a 25k hp mob with 5k per hit I kill it in 5 hits.
    If I fight a 25k hp mob with 6k per hit I kill it in... yes, 5 hits.

    If I fight a Xk hp BOSS with X+20%k per hit I kill it in... yes, Y hits.

    But if you fight a mob with 17k hp you kill it in 3 hits instead of 4.

    If you fight a mob with 60k hp you kill it in 10 hits instead of 12.

    Using the multiple of 5's for your example creates a perception that can be misleading. Now if you use multiples of 6 you see if from the other side.

    With that being said. When in a party fighting mob/boss's your not the only benefiting from the 20% damage increase.

    Plus, if you're the cleric in BB, have nothing to do, you can constantly debuff the boss and help the squad out using extreme poison.
