I personally played with the purple ones before I got the lvl 22 legendary daggers. But I also kept the blue ones for when I wanted to switch out. Unfortunately, I got the legendary ones, sold the blue ones, now have the purple ones in the bank, as a last resort backup if ever needed (no guardian angels for pvp, so if I lose my current ones lol), and then the lvl 32 white bow.

It's a preference really. The blue ones overall are technically better, but I liked the dex bonus from the purple ones, so yeah. xD

Use the blue ones. Have the purple ones in your inventory when you talk to General Summer. He gives you a small guardian/spirit charm in exchange for it. b:cute

He is right. You can have the 1st charm (juming trial) 2nd charm (exchange "fb19" daggers) and 3rd charm (from supply stash-only mag charm). Those are the only free charms i know.b:surrender

Woah baaaby, plat you say. Is this from the public quest line? Only done the lochmur ones up to the ring.
I can see what you see not,
    Vision milky, then eyes rot.
When you turn, they will be gone,
    Whispering their hidden song.
Then you see what cannot be,
Shadows move where light should be.
Out of darkness, out of mind,
Cast down into the Halls of the Blind.

Nope, once you complete the entire "coming of age" quest line, you can talk to an NPC on the beach outside the main city and start another "unlisted" quest. At the end of this, you have to solo a mob with ~1.3mil hp. Afterward you are rewarded with a guardian charm equivalent to a platinum charm that is untradeable, sellable, droppable, or account stashable.

    Thank you kindly troutb:kiss

Also just a reminder to anyone approaching 50 who hasn't read the q guides, pls take the time to fly to 1k streams (upper left of the map) for a lengthy but free travel quest that is unlisted from the elder which will give you more than half your lvls exp

you don't have to solo the boss, you just need to be the first to hit it and then leave your squad before it dies

like getting that fish guy killed, talking to dizzy, talking to ormin, getting a potion, going back to ormin then going to dizzy then going back to ormin then going down to the raging tide elder then killing some traitor and THEN you walk down to the beach
