you get the required mats.. and they clear the FB mobs so that only bosses are leftover.

You get the "quest" from Mister Tso in West Archosaur. Bring him the materials (mats) and he'll give you a wine. Each FB has a specific wine, and using said wine will clear most of the monsters from the dungeon, leaving you a quick run to the boss(es). Note that starting at FB39 you need two wines, not just one.

On the subject of wines, what's a w(h)ine fee?

For higher level Bounty Hunter squads, generally 69 and up, it takes far too long to run the dungeon unwined. Thus, one squad member will get the wines, and the rest will share the cost by paying the winer a "wine fee".

Well, FB69 is just plain painful. The monsters inside, being elites, are indeed worth reasonable XP - but because they are elite they take ages to kill and they're packed nose to tail.
Which reduces the relative benefit from FB/BH - and if you want to just grind mobs, you can do better outside.

For 59 and below - wine is a waste. Darkness stamps drop reasonably often, monsters are pretty easy to kill even at their level - the drops don't suck and you can avoid some of them.

Sixty nine - I say wine it. Hate that place. Give me another ten levels and I'll probably change my mind, but by then I'll have no reason to go in there.

Seventy nine... not sure. It's much more spread out and far fewer monsters than 69 - but then again, they're archers and lots of them wander. I can see arguments both ways.

79 is a waste of time unwined, mobs are archer, run everywhere..
time to do it unwined ( @90+) 1h, time to do the last 2 bosses in wined mode.. 20 minutes.

89, eden is a fun run to do unwined.. takes some time but you can get good drops, forget about brimstone unwined.

99 are only interesting unwined if you take the trophy mode.
I look at all the trollers, and Pvpers.. and know they wouldnt have lasted 30sec on Camelot.

Rules= Know your enemy (players and NPCs) gives you more chances to survive.
