Channelling-3% -> sell?

I got this random item drop after I killed a mob. It's a lvl4 Elemental Necklace with -3% channelling b:shocked

Do I sell this or keep it? I'm wearing it right now, but I'm wondering whether I should sell and for how much b:victory

PS: I'm not sure if this is the right board, please move if needed.

    why are you selling it for so low....

    a -channel gear avaliable at THAT low of a level is VERY uncommon... not to mention VERY helpful for casters. to get rid of it for so cheap is just plain dumb, sad to say.

    i found a really low level pair or -.05 interval LA gloves, and i wouldnt sell them for 100k

    I got a level 28 ring with -3% channel pretty early on. I'd say it's not worth as much as higher level channel gear for a few reasons:

    • It's lower level so has worse stats than higher level gear.
    • You blow through those lower levels pretty quickly, so its longevity is limited.
    • It's very rare, so you're unlikely to get more than one around that level. -3% is not noticeable.

    Within a couple weeks of getting it, my choice was between a ring with +19 mag atk and -3% channel, or a level 48 ring with +63 mag atk. I'm sorry, but -3% channel simply does not compensate for an extra +44 mag atk at that level.

    Not for grinding but alot of veno's wrap themselves in -Chan gear for pet spawns, doesnt matter what level it is.

    Oh yeah, channel gear is great. If you like the advantage it gives you, keep it - but it'll sell to other players for a lot.

    To be honest seeing that your a Psychic I would keep it till I no longer have use for it then sell it. That is of course you like the tideborn quest necklace better. Also yeah you could get a bit more for it than 100k, but that realy up to you.

    i think on pvp server many pet tamers have lvl 20-29 venos to tame pets. they would love low lvl chan gears. so chan gears under lvl 30 should be worth more than the ones from lvl 30-70. at around lvl 70+ starts those -6% chan gears what are better than lower lvl -3% chan

    I would suggest you not bother keeping it. As others have said:
    1. You level too fast to really keep it long at low levels
    2. -3% alone isn't going to be a noticeable difference
    3. People who think it's good boost the price.

    Plus, you don't really have much use for it as a psychic, with already low channel times, until you get to PvP. A tiny bit faster cast isn't going to help much against mobs, whereas later, if you can cast a disabling move faster, it's going to do you good PvP. Or, if you're a veno, it lets you spam heal a lot faster. The only class that could really take a lot of benefit from stacking channel at low levels is wizard. Up until they get will of the phoenix at 39, anything helps to have to spend less time kiting.

    Also, very few people use blue name alts for the rares, at least on Lost City; for the most part, the community just kills anyone who decides to PK or otherwise cheat at the spawns. It's great fun when one shows up. XP

    OMG, 3%. OMG 3% channeling. OMG 3% channeling lvl 22. OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG. SELL SELL SELL. I buy for 1 million.

    Oh wait. Then I will just out level it in 2 days and wonder why i can't resell this peice of junk in my inventory to another sucker for same price. On second thought i think someone would have to be silly in the head to pay more than 25k for it.
