I tried using the reference picture to customize my character (i followed the instructions just as it says in the help menu and even logged out and logged in and logged out one more time..) But whatever i do my face looks the same, if i select the 2nd reference picture, and then press Confirm, when i go back to modify, its the first reference picture selected again b:surrender.

Does anyone actually know how to use this? b:sad

Oh and i thought it might be a problem with tideborns, but i tried even on a blademaster and venomancer.. still nothing happens? Is there something im doing wrong? Or is the help menu wrong? b:shocked b:question

Also should this be in the general section? I think it should be because its a general doubt?

The reference picture doesn't change how your character looks.

You're supposed to use it as a reference while building your character so that you have an easier time with various details versus making a character from scratch with no visual reference at all.

But that setting won't be maintained on your character. It provides a template for you to copy using the customisation presets. Have you been able to overlay the picture and adjust the transparancy? Or is this the part that you're having problems with? I've never tried this option before so I really can't provide more information.

But this is what it says here, it can overlay the picture on my face?

    What it means is simple.

1: Drag picture on top of your character's face (overlaying).
2: Adjust transparency until you can see your character's face well enough below the picture.
3: Adjust the facial settings until your character's matches the picture.

Like I said, it doesn't actually affect your character in any way. It simply is there to give you a model for your character. Kind of like when an artist uses a live model for a painting instead of just making one from something random in their mind.

I tried this once and I think the problem was you need the picture you're using to match the format of the other pictures that are in the reference. Make it a bitmap image using an image editor such as mspaint or photoshop.
