Holy hell, its been such a long time since I've played. This new class has intrigued my greatly, so what the heck?
Quick questions on Psychics.
Are they fragile?
Zre they DD's?
Do they have decent buffs?
Good skills?
What does this class have over the other tide class?
Basicaly all that jazz. A comparison to a class would be golden also!

without any 79/sage/demon its kinda hard to say
but atm they are fragile
mage w/out earth shield
they hit weaker than mages but they cast faster
there spells got crappy wep damage modifers so suck later onwards
they can around the same as a mage but they need black voodoo on
it reduces ure def lvl by 11.5
there buffs aint that great, very unsynergistic
lemme elaborate
1. buffs refelct damage so they are best cast on tanks
2. but buffs cost tank like 100 mana for every hit they take
3. tanks dont have lots of mana
4. ???????????
5. profit
they have a 1 spark move called soulburn
its a curse that makes the victim take damage when he attacks
its good damage but noone will attack after realiseing they are debufffed0 -
got abuff that stuns attacker
got a buff that reflects negative status effects and deals some dmg
got a buff that reflects physical
got a buff that reduces charm time , increases heal (pots and spells)
got a buff that silences attacker
got a buff that makes immune to physical and purifies
got a debuff that increases charm time , etcetc
got less dmg than a wizz , but faster cast time
got a sutra
got aoe heal
got tons of nice effects on skills, like bleed , stun , immobilize , interrupt, pushbac(pve)
darn i feel like giving away hideous secretsb:shockedb:shocked

The way you're describing it Magikrap, Psychics seem worthless xD.
I think we're just a damn fine class. We got good single nukes, good aoes with very very nice effects, and some amazing buffs for ourselves too.
I believe that Soul of Vengeance reflects all kind of damage, but I'm not sure. Soul of Stunning is pretty nice too, and Soul of Retaliation seems truely awesome. Regarding Soul of Silence, you need high Soulforce to have like 10% chance to trigger it, it seems to be the weakest Soul to me. (I have 5k, it has something like 2.80% chance of casting silence).Risingson - 7x Psychic

all party of the game could be done in squad mode, BEFORE psys jumped to life why should this change now ? ----> psys are useless

According to ecatomb, a wizard casting level 10 sandstorm gets their base magic attack, 300% of their weapon damage plus 4288. And that takes them 4 seconds.
In that time, a psychic could cast spirit blast and landslide, giving them their base magic attack twice, and some percent of their weapon damage twice plus the constant adds from both spells.
But your base magic attack will be much higher than your weapon damage, even if you are a full vit build or a light armor build.0 -

hey since everyones talkin about the psys on this forum i have a question lets see if anyone can answer it...ok the skill called soul of vengeance reflects 8% of the casters soulforce and drains .8 of the damage takers mana at lvl 1...i have it at lvl 5 and i havent seen anything about it change its upgraded...is this just happening to me or are you other psys noticing this problem too and if theres a boost that im not seeing with the upgrades can someone plz explain what im missing? thx0

Actually the chances of those AOE effects proc-ing is not that high... Even at 90% , it still may fail to trigger the procs.
Single nukes depends highly on weapon and it's refines as it is capped at 100%, so you will always need higher refines to bring out higher damage.
I think all these needs to be told to the general Psy population, that if you have a crappy weapon, you will do lower damages than mages.
If you get the legendary weapons and refine + socket it, your damage may be slightly higher or at least, on par with the mage.0 -
Aqua Impact works at 100% of the time even though it says 50% at max level >.> for me at least lol
