So there's the Gold Trading House ( I still don't get it.) Or you could buy some botique items and sell them ... e.g. nix or sof. What do you guys think is the best way to convert your gold to coins? THX

Gold trading guide:

Items are almost always priced cheaper than it would be to buy them from the AH.
The exceptions are things which are currently at a discount - you can buy those and then sell them once the price goes up, and you could gamble with the packs that you get something valuable.
It's also well worth checking the anniversary pack, several cash-shop items can be got more cheaply that way than by directly buying them with gold:

Also coloured dye can be worth gambling on - red white and black sell for large amounts.0 -

I see too many people trying to sell anni-packs and I doubt anyone's buying them. I would rather not gamble0 -
imo don't bother getting boutique stuff and resell, because they will almost certainly sell for cheaper than they should. (the amount of coins required to get the amount of gold from AH).
i'm found the more efficient and safe method is just to put your gold into the AH and sell from there.0 -
OK here what I want to do. I got 6 gold and 20 silver. I want to get me the Best Tideborn Wings there is.
Using the gold I got now. What Item can I waste it on but sell for a good price to where I make a Profit?
IE. Like I buy say 10 one hour +50% EXP scrolls. And sell them for 200k to 250k.0 -

But with that there Selling Gold is cheaper then Buying if so your not making more money/Gold if you sell gold.0 -
Well, up to a few days ago there was a pretty good scam of buying glaze and reselling that for like 10k. The price of glaze has dropped now, but it may still work with other mats.
But most people can do the maths and will buy cash shop items for at most, not much more than it would cost them to just buy the gold. One exception is selling things in places where there's no auctioneer - and things people need in a hurry, such as charms. They consistently stay above cash-shop price.
But no, buying gold then reselling doesn't work unless the gold price is going up quickly. It's currently going down, as we recover from anniversary packs. Still, it's gotten about as low as it can ever go (without the removal of 1m-coin boxes) so now would be the time to take that gamble and buy a lot of gold, in time for the next sale (whatever it turns out to be - we've not had charms for a while) to push it back up.0 -
The best way to make your gold count, is by paying attention to the current gold prices in AH. Sometimes buying from the boutique is more expensive, sometimes it is about the same (unless there is a special sale going on).
Best bet is to hold onto your gold for a few days, and watch AH until gold prices are at a high. Then sell sell sell. That's of course assuming you can afford the luxury to do that. If you're in a hurry to sell and get your money immediately, then list your gold at 500 coins under the cheapest listing, that way you ensure that people will most likely be buying yours next. If you offer your gold at one of the more expensive prices, it can take days to sell, and personally i hate waiting. Also, you can't cancel your listing unless you want to pay a hefty fee in silver (After the 3rd day pw cancels the listing for free).
Anyway, lately it's been a general pattern that gold prices rise after a scheduled maintanence, because pw has been releasing new things nearly every week, and everyone goes crazy to buy it. That is usually a great time to get that gold listed!
Hope this helps and good luck with buying/selling gold b:pleased0
