A few beginner questions.

Ok I saw the list of pets tameable I also know you can tame at lvl 7 and that you can get a pet at lvl 3 but

were the pet's listed the ONLY ONES you can get? b:shocked

Edit: if this was somewhere else I apologize but I didn't see this exact question anywhere D:

    There are many MANY tamable pets.

    Don't know what else to say, really.

    theres hundreds of tamable pets, just the selection of the ones with really good stats is limited. id suggest a glacial walker, a frogling, or a dark wanderer. 2 can be found in the tideborn area, and the frog is rare but cheap.

    I recomend the glacier walker, if you insist on tanking and soloing. Otherwise grab a high attack pet, like a scorp, good for slicing through mobs.
