Better armor or weapon?

I changed heavy a while ago and getting along with it but as I level,I start to question..what will count more at a higher level?Should I opt for a better armor or weapon?I saw last weapon needs 300 mag..I did some math and I'd be able to put it on at 105 and with a set of TT 70 armor.I don't know if that is good.I want something of equal def and attack.So what armor or weapon should i try to go for?Is it possible to get a TT90 and still have a good weapon?

    Erhm, raizen exactly what kinda heavy build do you have? My level 94 venomancer had both TT90 Heavy and arcane armour sets, and the level 89 requiem mold blade (magic sword) but she also had enough magic to weild the TT90 magic sword.

    Do your equips have stat bonuses? It's really the only way possible to make a heavy build on a venomancer work to weild both armour and weapons for your level. Like does your belt, helmet, necklace, rings add +dex/+mag+/str?

    I clocked up roughly 100+ extra stat points just from EQ bonuses. If anything, at 90+, it's your highest priority to have both defense and attack that is up to date.

    General Summer's sword is available in the supply stash at level 50, but you need a perfect iron hammer - which is a cash shop item, for five gold.
    Which means, nowadays, it's probably not worth it.

    ^This. You don't need to sacrifice defence or attack, just find some ornaments with lots of stat bonuses.
