A question about squads

hey guys, my bf and I were wondering something ... Often, when we are out and about doing our quests or just grinding... we each get asked constantly to join squads .. Is there any real benefit to this?

In other games we have played, if you joined up with other players you would spilt the drops & coins etc as well as get extra EXP if those you were fighting with were of higher lv's .. I've searched the forum for some info on this but am getting nowhere..
I was standing in the park wondering why frisbee's got bigger as they get closer. Then it hit me...[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

    Squad Mode = Shared Coins/XP/Drops

    So no there is no benefit except more people to kill what ever your killing lol.

    Exceptions - TT/FB/BH/FF/Luner/Warsong

    The only bonus for it is that when you squad with someone you both share the kill. So you don't have to kill as many mobs as you would normaly. However the exp amount is split in half, and the default for parties is random drops. So if you pick something up you may get it or the other person might get it instead.

    I think the most benefit is saved time. I have quests, where I have to kill 90 mobs. Without squad it takes forever. But true is, that to find some people to squad is at these levels quite hard. All quests are in frost(north map). And there are just few players.

    Yea and timed saved but OPs char isn't a level 90 yet lol and i know what u mean about killing 90 mobs i gotta kill 3 groups of 85 mobs and a 80 random drop quest lol. Seriously gonna take away from my TT and FF time b:sad.
