    Lol xD

Maybe you should read up about the class a little. There is only one weapon available for a Psychic : Soulsphere. Regarding the armors, well you have dedicated armors until level 20 or so, after that it would be Arcane Robes.

Go for a bow. Bow wiz rules, so bow psy will rock to b:avoid

NOTE: this is sarcasm, never use a bow on anything exept kunkun and staunch worms, and these are magic imume and don't fight back so don't count

well considering there is no actual guide to the Psychics, and most of the "videos" are either of poor quality or have nothing to do with a psychic build....

But I guess the high level players do not want to help out the noobs (that never changes in any mmorpg) nor do they want to take time to make a good and decent guide for new players.

I started today and thought Psychic would be cool. One thing I have learned in game in the last 10 minutes is 99.999% of the Tideborns in the Raging Tide server are complete *******s. I guess that becoming a Tideborn requires *******ship.

Well there's kind of a gap between helping out and doing the game for you. Besides, Psychics (and Assassins too for that matter) are a brand new class and any guide you would read right now probably wouldn't help you right since the very role of our class hasn't been quite figured out yet.

Some people say we are DDers, others say we are supports, and so on. It's a bit early for guides. I personally think we are DDers, but who need quite some gear to take full profit of our Souls.

The main reason there are no guides for tideborn yet is because they only exist for 1 month.

So yes, you need exp with PWI to play a tideborn, because noone yet knows how to actually play it

HOWEVER, the build is pritty much the same for all arcane DD users (of which there so far only was 1, wiz, but now psy is pritty much also a magic DD).

lol if you actually ask in game people actually help out alot, i dont blame people for not putting up a vid, cause then you have people whining "poor quality" not only that it takes too long, the last thing i wanna do when i get home from work is post a vid for random dudes that probably wont watch it.

And depends on what type of psychic you wanna be but here are the 2 best builds.

    Pure MAG psy = 9INT + 1STR every 2 LVS
    Hybrid (a psy with a little more HP) = 2VIT + 7ING + 1STR every 2 LVs

Since you only get 10 hp per vita point, it would a total waste to use your attributes in vita. Better off using shards and refines to increase HP instead of sacrificing Magic, in my opinion.
Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you, it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and slap that mother#$@%#^! upside the head.

Read through the forums a bit more, there's a few threads on how to build, what skills to level, and what skills not to level from several different perspectives.

Here's my post in that regards, I'm not going to rewrite it because somebody didn't wanna look.

As IceJazmin said, it really is a waste to add a good number of points into vit. The tradeoff between gaining some hp and losing damage doesn't look pretty.
Psychics are pretty much a mage class, arcane robes + pts into magic = mage class.
But of course there will always be some people who will try to make an LA build so they can enjoy their own definition of Fun b:chuckle

Personally i think the only thing that can be done with tideborn is the same thing from when perfect world first came about. Experiment with the class and find the right setup for yourself and the class, as this is where all guides came from it would seem to be the obvious move. To all who did this before all i can say is "hats off to you".
