Marriage Quest NOT FIXED!

GodsFear and myself are on the 'Once and Again' marriage quest. We went to Cho near the Zoologist to start it, flew to Northwestern Archosaur, back to Cho, then the quest was bugged. Quest disappeared from log, but we still have Suma's Letter in our Quest inventory. Please help. b:surrender

It is not bugged it is just one of those run all over Marriage Quests.
I completed it last nite on my Tideborn and her hubby.
Have you tried (1) talking to the NPC again and (2) checking to see what the quest log says to do?
You have to talk then go to N. Arch, then back, something here, you have to each kill mobs for a drop then each have to talk to a different Merchant, then go back, then back to North Arch NPC and then back again to the original quest giver b:surrender
In between you have to re-talk to the NPC to get the quest "re-activated."[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
RoidAbuse is awesome, only he would sell his sperm for gear!!

According to the Patch Notes Last night, it was fixed. The quest no longer appears in log, we didn't receive any reward, Suma's Letter is still in our Quest Inventory, and we have tried talking to both NPCs but nothing works/happens.Is no longer a part of Aurora. Not sure...I did it right after servers were up and it was weird in the way it was done, but it was completed fine.
I remember the quests disappearing form our log but I cannot remember what we did...it was more my hubby that was able to activate a part or two whereas I was not. b:surrender[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

So you haven't kill any Blobs / Aboride? I finished this quest yesterday. But I can't remember which steps are you in. It's mainly just going back and forth from Cho to Suma, then kill some mobs, talk to Merchant Fei or something and its done.0 -
The hubbys r the ones that activate and talk 2 most of the marriage quest so if your husband didnt do that then thats why u cant go further on in the quest0

I have the same question about the level requirement. We married our Tideborns the following sunday after the update, and have yet to be able to find or activate this quest.
We tried the Matchmakers Assistant and the NPC behind the Zoologist, with no quests from either.
We are both level 27 assassins.
Were we supposed to activate it the day we married? And / or have waited too late to be able to get it?
Someone please shed some light on this.
Thanx.0 -

And I am seriously discussing this particular quest. If you have any other questions please PM me or start another thread. We continued without a problem without doing this particular quest. Reminds me on whats going to happen when we get to this quest again. Is no longer a part of Aurora. Married to GodsFear b:dirty and loves her life!0

Thank you for clearing this up, AngelsFear.
Hint to Website admins: Adding the fact you can't do daily marriage quest, until after your character is level 30+, to the description on the Expansion notes, would be a good idea. b:victory0 -
After you get the letter stand by the Npc for a minute or 2 not moving and the letter disappears and a quest pops up. Worked fine today but I did notice the extra experience we got last time disappeared> last time we did tis quest we got almost double the amount.0

My Hubby and I are having problems with this quest as well b:irritated The first time we did it we got left with the letter in our quest bag too and it sat there until today when we saw Cho Wenchun had a gold shield over her head. We clicked and the letter disappeared and we got the XP/SP we had been missing. Then we went back to the matchmaker assistant for today's same quest. We went through the motions and even took your advice and at the end stood by her for a good 5mins+ but the letter didn't disappear and there were no pop-ups b:angry SO, I think this quest is STILL screwed up and WHY they haven't truly fixed it yet is beyond us. b:infuriated I even put a ticket in regarding this issue and all I got in response was to come to this thread and post it b:irritated[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Thanks you two, something weird happened. As you know the quest line then again repeats itsself. We started the quest at cho again, got the letter, and then another gold shield appears above her head. So we start that quest, and it ended without any Experience, or Spirit Points. We took the letter to whoever, then came back to cho finished the quest, got nothing, and then the quest started over again? 3 times. I think this quest is seriously bugged, or are we missing something here?Is no longer a part of Aurora. Married to GodsFear b:dirty and loves her life!0 -
Now hearing ingame that another one of the 5 Marriage quests are bugged. The quest with Aegis Tower Disciple disappears after it gets 50% HP. Are the GM's messing with us? Could we please have someone look into this? 60 dollars. yes.Is no longer a part of Aurora. Married to GodsFear b:dirty and loves her life!0

Just completed the Cho Wenchum quest again yesterday and checked with all of my married guildies and none have had any issues with it. I typically let my 'wife' run the party, so I'm not the right person to figure out where it's going bad on you though.
And wth the Aegis Tower Spirit, I have noticed odd things a couple of times. The first time we went to kill it, we waited for a hair under 25 minutes before it spawned.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Thanks for the sig Ophida0 -
Just did a new marriage quest, one that I haven't done before, near allies' camp. It was fine.Is no longer a part of Aurora. Married to GodsFear b:dirty and loves her life!0

K - I take back my other posts.
Just got married on an alt and tried Cho Wenchum and had the same problem. Went through the quest fine - got Cho's letter - and nothing happens. We both tried talking both NPCs and both have the letter in our quest bag.
Any chance of getting an answer on this?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I doubt it. I placed a ticket for this issue and the only response I recieved was to post in the forum. Hrm.. Numerous people are all having the same issue but according to PWI this is not an issue with the quest but on how we are doing the quest.
Yay, another bug in PWI that will not get fixed. b:angry0 -
In order for them to do anything, we need to provide them persistent information as to what exactly what is going on and how to go about it.
As we can already infer based on what everyone has posted, the marriage quests are bugged for those who got married after the rising tide expansion. Everyone who got married before, their quest is fine. However, this isn't entirely true, as there are players from Raging Tide who indeed have completed all of their marriage quests without any problem. Slowly and slowly as the days go by more and more marriage quests seem to be bugged in some way form or fashion.
If anyone has anything they would like to add please reply. Is no longer a part of Aurora. Married to GodsFear b:dirty and loves her life!0 -

I have 2 chars that got married well after the expansion and have never had an issue.
Tips -->
1) Check Quest log so not full
2) Check inventory and have at least 3-4 slots open
3) Do not change lead
4) You log/dc you lose the quest
5) Some quests you can add others to the party to help if lower level, others you cannot **** anyone or the quest will fail[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Well.. Both my wife and I have never hand the Cho Whenchu quest completed until 1 week later. We were married last Feb and in response to your tips:
1. Quest log is NOT full
2. I only have 30 free slots in my inventory
3. Lead is not changed
4. I don't relog until after waiting 1 hour for the quest to continue
5. We are both lvl 97
After speaking to Cho nothing happens until 1 week later when the marriage quest comes back around.0 -
can some one just give me the cords to suma?Lost City Sage barb and Retired Coven Marshal.0
