I was searching for a BH29 party to get it done quick and painless. I join a party that invites a 82 cleric because we couldn't find a cleric our level. So we have 2 sins, 1 archer, 2 psychics and a high level cleric.
So naturally you would think that the 82 cleric would tank and heal himself. ... but no, he and this sin kept on insisting that he heals and the sin tanks. I tried to direct that plan back onto the high level tanking, but no one was hearing me.
I just quietly thought to myself, "have fun i'm not going to do anything cause this is a disaster".
I was right.
Here we go.. 2 sins wildly go running at the boss as well as the other psychic just starts DDing right away. The high level cleric does not spam heal the sin, second mistake. First mistake was letting the high level heal and not tank. So of course the hate is switching between people killing them off one by one.
Me and the archer did not attack, we knew we wont get killed if they **** up that way. Sin down, Sin down, Psychic down, and lastly high level 82 cleric down. The cleric was too busy trying to res the other to stop and heal himself lol.. sad, high level dead in 29. I'v seen lower level clerics own Qingzi solo.
So i ask everyone, why isnt the cleric tanking.. to a reply from the cleric.. I (as in me psychic) cant res?
ya know.. "you wouldn't have to res anybody if you would just tank it yourself." I didnt tell him that till the second massacre, but i was sure thinking it the whole entire time.
So instead of leaving, i wait.. got a snack and was ready to see more people die. Cleric makes it back to the fb and reses everyone.
So whats their new plan? ugh the same old plan.. not smart again. I try again to convince them that the cleric soloing is much safer. No one is listening. So they take a precaution this time and let the sin build Argo on its own.
This time i got to watch the sins hp... Qingzi is taking half of his hp each hit. All is looking okay for them. I still wont attack because i knw what comes next.
Once everyone starts DDing, it goes downhill again. Aggro switches instantly...Psychic down, Archer down, Sin down.. lovely.
Have fun resing.

I'd laugh it off; you got to see an 8x make an absolute fool of himself/herself.
You can rez and use hp pots at the same time. You can rez and use genie heals at the same time. Or you can lose your head completely and let Qingzi kill you b:laugh0 -

I think the Cleric due to his level was not inclined to listen to you since he pwns you by lvl alone. But I hope he learnt his lesson, this is just something for the category of no comment. Maybe he tried to let his Assassin friend have his fun, but having a tank at the same level or lower as the boss is usually bound to be fail.Few people make mistakes with fire after being once burned, of people who regard water lightly many have been drowned - Yamamoto Tsunetomo0

... i have a higher level character than he does and i'v been playing more than a year. As alot of people are Alts on tideborns.. taking in my advice would have saved the situation.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Sorry if you misunderstood what I said, maybe I should've added a few more words. But I often stumble upon people who by level alone will completely look down on/ignore you and only think that whatever they know is absolute truth. Haha I know, it makes no sense. But even if he/she couldn't heal and needed to, there were always pots and genies too while channelling rez. The whole thing cracked me up.0 -

i remember the days when arcane clerics used to insist that they tank phys attack bosses over a bm or barb
they always seem to think they know best, and a lot of times they know jack0 -

Ok that was funny. But to go ahead and do it a second time around, that was just plain dumb. How the hell did that cleric get to 8x doing stupid things like that is beyond me O_O And to have a sin tank was realy dumb. If it was a barb or maybe a BM sure fine but to use as my freind put it, a Glass Cannon to tank = fail.
I mean in bh39 against farren spamming his AoEs, my whole suqad died. I managed to survive by potting & ressing the whole team o_O Probably not that great of feat to some people but I thought I did well XD

How can a lvl 8x Cleric die against Qingzi? Thats just fail right there..
First thing for people who didn't know Qingzi is a boss who does magic attacks and phy attacks so I can see a low lvl melee archer failing against it.
But how can a Cleric..... A CLERIC.... Die against a magic boss... seriously.. That is the most failed cleric in PWI losing against a magic boss and causing a parity wipe TWICE..
He just need to re-role another class now since he can't even live against a VERY low lvled boss and causing a party wipe.
PS:I wonder how badly he is in a squad in TT/HH.. b:shocked

Should have dueled the cleric. Then you could tell your friends you beat an 82 cleric.
Side note: an 82 cleric dying on Qingzi is...pretty hard. I'm pretty sure most clerics have an HP regen higher than what he hits.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Witch really happened to me before, There was Me, 1 Wiz and 1 archer
The wiz had all magic def shards on him and he manage to take him with out any problem and he was 4x I think. So, I still don't under stand how a 8x Cleric fail so badly. b:shocked[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
