Wtf?

I'm a level 69 Wizard, pure.

Recently I dueled a level 60 psychic and he ***** me. Repeatedly. I came close to winning once when I used essential sutra, but out of 10 duels he killed me ten times.

I'd like to point out I am not a fail wizard. Pure, yes, but not fail. I can usually come close to winning every duel against every class I face that is my level, I lose usually, but wizards aren't good until endgame, this I know. I have all my armor updated, only the useful spells spent, chi pots, charms, etc, I have it all, I researched for months on this game while I played it to make the best wizzy possible.

But after this psychic ordeal, I've decided that they are way too OPed. I'm quitting pwi. I've spent so much money on this game and it's a shame to the developers to make psychics so overpowered they can kill a class almost ten times higher than them.

Goodbye PWI, thanks for nothing.

i would say your only 69 and still have alot of improvement coming your way with the higher level skills you will get.

If it was really "ten times" higher, then yeah, a lvl. 60 Psychic being able to kill a lvl. 600 Wizard would be hella OP allright.

But a class that can easily wipe the floor 1-vs-1 with a character that's 10 levels higher has been around for ages now. It's called a "Heavy Veno".

So basically, you're just throwing your toys out of the pram because you want the game to be about nothing but levels. You don't want any variety, or tactics, or builds, or specific equipments, etc..., etc... to mean anything. In your opinion, a higher level should always beat a lower level, full-stop.

I disagree.

The levels aren't that much of a problem, ive beat classes higher than me and lost to classes to me, but if u hate it that much then goodbye b:bye.

You din't understand wizards do more dmg than psychics in pvp and pve, you just gotta level higher where psy already do instand damage even from low level, nothing changes for them, there a secondary dd class where wiz is number 1, don't quit and keep playing

Like the previous people said. I can win 70% of my duels as a nix veno. However, when them wizards cast BT on me. Im a goner.

She is right. Read Wizard topic. There is duel 97 wizard with 8x assassin and physic. They are very OP. And if dev. doesn't fix it, lot of people will leave. If they will own every class, then the fun is gone. But I think they will fix it, when will be higher level of psychic and assassins and nobody will own them. We just have to send lot of complains.

a small bit of difference in hp and what? 40 more magic points if you're pure?

there's not even a difference in weapon, gear. if we're talking 70 vs 79 and you lose, holy **** then theres something wrong, 79 skills make a hell of a difference for classes, esp for wizards.

but 60 vs 69?

come on, you don't even have all of your skills yet. i bet i can drop your wiz w/ a lvl 59 archer, just because archers max out on cast and attack range much earlier than wizards do.

but you know what? even if the classes are unbalanced, you'd think they'd start to try to fix it. give it some time.

Come on, you're level 69, you're talking a few weeks work tops and your psy can wear all your current wiz gear meaning you'll be a lot richer. You obviously picked a wiz cause you expect to hit endgame and faceroll your keyboard to oneshot and pwn everyone in PvP. And oh look =o A class that will do that for you even better than your current.

Basically this thread boils down to you being too lazy to put in 2 weeks work to improve. Arguing you like just being wiz would be a lie since you've openly admitted only caring about levels/power.

beat in duel or pk? I lose in duels often just cause other classes have an upper hand (cast, speed, and ect)...while Pk it's different, and i dont see why wizzie should have probs with assassins yet alone with psychics

In open PK you don't stand in front of the person, count down, make sure you have them targeted, and see who can get off the sleep/stun first. You're not always expected, you're not always alone, you're not always fighting just one person. Charms work, and genies aren't considered "cheating" (unless you're talking to a particularly bad QQer).

Rolf yeah, while in duels u start at same time (meaning faster casting skills hit first and nothing u can do about it) and rolf in duels melee classes QQ if u run away or use any skill to avoid them.....bla bla....any ways it really does not show anything.
While in Pk, u have an element of surprise, u can use what ever dirty trick u got, it's all fair game. Pk vs sin/psy your level and come back (there should be some of those levels by now) and ull see they are not so OP.....

So, you're impling pure is a bad built?
LOL, so LA is prefered over arcane armor against a psy (doing nothing but magic dmg) b:laugh
Also, with either water or eart shield, you're blocking out half they're skiltree.

PS, you do know charm doesn't work in duel right?
