Wizard is fun!

Hey all!
Between all the existential discussions about wizards being replaced or not, going sage or demon and the question if we are gimped or not I discovered once again, how much I like my class today.
I was looking for some squad members to help me with Gigantic Xenomorph, a huge nasty OHT bug that you need for the 90+ quest chain. I couldn't find anyone, especially no cleric - TW time obviously.
So I decided to try and solo it, since it is possible to knockback and seal the bug. Well he isn't that fast.. But still faster than a running wizard, and OHT is full of mobs and stuff. So it was a hard battle, especially since I had to do the second half of the battle without charm and with only a few pots. I therefore had to abuse my healing spell in the right moments (and sutra heal...). Here are some "in action"-shots. b:chuckle
After some time of using all the tricks you have as a wizard, he finally went down and I got my quest drop:
It was a real challenge, especially being focused all of the time. But I liked the experience. Something else than playing the routine DD. And as I said - It reminded me of why I like the wizard class so much.

nice really, needed enough patience for that. i do similiar but i got my ep for healing slave with combo and i try concentrate only to dding, but u was more bored than me

Wow. NICE job. I was looking for some help also. Fortunately was veno there. He helped me. He has aggro with herc, so I could use all my power.
But your work is really impressive.
BTW. Quest continue in FB 99 3 bosses If I'm correct. I didn't do that yet.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Thanks for the replies. I was really rather bored and looking for a little challenge..
And about blue named: I kinda switch between pk mode and non pk, since being white on a PvE server means more trouble than being white on a PvP server I guess. And when I wanna do WQ while being able to go afk or sh.it like that, I prefer being blue. b:chuckle I guess from 95 on I will go into pk permanently...[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

pure mag i believeSins are Scissors. Psychics are Rocks.
Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze0 -
