Just FYI to all Venos. Since the Snowman are level ?, your pets will receive the 15 EXP for each one. And since each is a one shot, I suggest you get out there, and grab some for yourself. Maybe level up an Air Pet? Just figured I'd let you know. Have fun out there, Venos.

It's awfully slow just for leveling but using range on an Ethereal Inamorato: shoot while jumping (accidentally found this out), shoot while picking stuff up, and shoot while melee. People are QQ'ing about Archers having the advantage. b:chuckle I pre-leveled my Inamorato and half filled my Genie.

I trained my frogling a bit on the snowmens, but the thing is. there is so mch ks-ing... so it'll be slow. on the other hand, they also drop dice tickets.
I went into cube for 'free' because the snowmen dropped me some dice tickets ^^

    less ks in cube ^^

I'm doing that with a snowhare my friend got me but with all the people killing them at once, it's hard to kill one.

land pet = room 4 of cube
air pet = flying worms near white sand beach in tideborn area
    water pet = good luck

Snowmen are not that great. Way too crowded and takes too much effort.

I get them easily. Get yourself the starting bow from an archer and some arrows.

I also assume it has something to do with your level/where you're killing. For example, I'm 85, and pretty much get credit for every one I shoot. My level 70 Foxwing Supreme has gone up to 75 without any problem at all. I even sat there and grinded the Snowman killing quest for stockings while I did it. So, really, just find an area away from the people higher than you. I know that sounds mean to nooblets, but they're not getting as much benefit from the Snowmen, anyway. Most of the little nooby players will probably NPC most of the stuff they get, not knowing what it's actually worth. As for that 120 EXP per mob... So they split it... It's still 60 if two shoot, and that's more EXP per Hour than they can get just by mobs...

Exactly, using a bow and tab, you can easily kill snowmen before most ppl see them appear. I leveled my Herice from 82-89 on snowmen, and got around 750k stamina for my genie while I was at it. While cube is faster, given the drops from snowmen il take my 8 or so snowmen a minute compared to the 12-15 you can get from cube. Of course this all depends on how many ppl are abound but it seems that most people have gotten sick of snowmen, making them easier to kill.

Thanks for the tips and the headsup. Rather than levelling my pet, I levelled myself. Level 20 in 2 days isn't too bad, thanks to snowmen. Also gave me a bulging purse, and a genie stamina at 500,000. I'll go to work with my battle-pet asap.

Only thing I didn't like were all the archers following me around while I did snowmen in foxform. I can see them before they do but as soon as I head in that direction they get them first. Very annoying. My tactic for that is to run behind them in the opposite direction. Seems to work. (Patience, I tell myself.) Also, I pick up all the fireworks I can find and cash them in. Each pack of ten is worth 500 coins. I've banked all the celestones I've picked up.

So, thank you PWI for the snowmen gifts! b:pleased

Them damn things are immune for elemental attacks. So guess what, the common caster veno wont be able to lvl her pet there fast. Since we have 7 scarabs. 5 are wood, one is fire and one water (costs chi btw).. so yea.. fail

Those are easy as well. Hidden Orchid is the best spot until 35 or so, then you've got dawn's cry (if you're level 75+, if not just go kill foxwings and let it level up, or do staunch worms a bit more slowly), then you've got staunch worms when the pet is in the 60+ range.

can't you just use the pet to attack? it's still faster than grinding lower lvl mobs to level them - especially in the levels when you can no longer 1shot the mobs that you're using to train the pet.

You do realize that your pet can easily kill those right? My nix was ripping through them like butter. (im talking about the worms)

I dont see how a place that can level up my nix (level 80ish) in 10 minutes can be fail...

I might have a herc but that doesnt mean I have a nix, I dont PvP or TW so why would I need one?
and the damn things try to fly away once u attack them.

i put bash lvl 1 from sawfly on auto attack and this skill only 1 shot those worms. without bash, 2 hits. you dont have to cast anything, hit tab and press pet attack... why bother with any kind of veno skills to cast??
