My treefrog wont level

I bought a level 44 tree frog (for a veno).
My only problem is it wont level, it has 1150/1150 exp.
I thought maybe they don't level any higher until I saw one in someones shop at level 46.

Could anyone help me? =/

    Are you making it kill mobs of his own lvl or higher?
    cause if the mobs are too low lvl your per wont gain exp ;)

    Killing mobs level 51 - Thats alot higher than its self...

    pets level cant be higher than your own level,... maybe thats why???

    As you can see im a level 47, my pet as I said is 44.

    check the food level / loyalty maybe?

    are you killing in a squad or alone? for pet to get xp from a kill in squad you+pet have to do more than 50% of the damage
