    And in terms of the sound...I play with no sound on and I would only be speculating b:surrender

    It's not leveling. It's a distinct sound.. and a purple flame thing around yourself.. or your pet right after "something" happens when a mob dies.

    Is it not a kinda mana burn thing? Notice the little purple/blue pic beside your summer sprint. I think it's that.

    u beat me to it, that's exactly what it is.

    Some mobs in that area have a skill they cast on u that drains your mana. Thats the effect that skill gives off when its cast on you.
