client running, unable to update....HELP

ok my game has always bhen working fine till now.during gameplay i checked my map, than stupidly pressed the x button, shutting off the whole game. so when i tryd to get back on the, when the update client poped up the start button became update, and sed client running, unable to proceed with update. im already fully updated, but still not allowing me to start game. what do i do?

    The "Client Running/Unable to Update" message appears when you attempt to launch or patch the game while it is already running.

    First, go to the Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del and end any instances you see of patcher.exe, launcher.exe, elementclient.exe, and pwprotector.exe, then try again. If all else fails, reboot your computer.

    I did that and rebooted and Im gettin that message also. Im a little confused as to why its doin it for me. This is the first time.

    if you using vista it can be helpfull to run it as admin...
    just as Surtr sayed try that...
    if that doesnt work try re installb:surrender

    >.< I really dont wanna have to reinstall all of this again.... Ill give it a little more time and go back to Final Fantasy for a few hours lol. Maybe Itll be ok later tonight
