Why no kings?

ermm.. why dont untamed, elves, and the humans have kings? O.o what gives?

    ^This^, like in RL some tribal cultures have "Elders" in the place of a "king".

    The King just sits down and looks cool, the Elder does all the work. Oh, and most likely, the King goes to war while the elder goes hiding in a closet.

    TB = King, old classic one
    Humans = General, military leadership
    Untamed = Main elder (not necessarily the oldest), kinda like natives
    Elves = Matriarchy, Elder is really queen, but since it's chinese most likely why labeled as elder instead. Or maybe real queen is hidden. Crafty elves.
    Wraith = GMs, one of them is or maybe they're all just each a head of a hydra posting in a different screenname.
