Pet question.

Okay, so i've read the various guides, and to be honest im so confused and mislead by some of them i don't know where to begin. xD

I'm not really a pvper in the least, i will do the occasional duel once in a blue moon, but thats it - i dont pk randomly, i dont go and just plain pvp people all over the place, im just not that kinda person. I UNDERSTAND that im on a pk server, and i realise that im gonna get randomly pked but i have no intention to fight back, call me weird but meh, thats me (: - getting to the point

Which pet.. should i actually use, any suggestions? i have a magmite, shaudou cub..and the flying fox thing (which i need to level up to my current level) i really don't intend to get herc/nix, its just too expensive and i dont want a grindfest for money at the moment i just wanna enjoy the game. So please, any suggestions? im just too confused at which pets to aim for x-x

TLDR - i dont pvp and herc/nix is not an option at the moment, just want a nice easy levelling pet to go with before the srs buisness levels, any suggestions?

    Glacial walker for tank
    Scorpion for DD
    Seaguardian (hellhound) as a magic tank/DD
    Shadow ranger can be a nice lure/dd as well

    For flying one of the bees up to goldwing emperor or the new skatefish

    if ur at level 37 like ur avatar says i suggest restarting at a pve server,... and getting a scorpion,... theyr very strong DD pets and for pk/pvp occasionally i suggest a sawfly,... other than that,... a glacial walker will do whatever u need for a tanking phys pet,... (the scorpion can be replaced by the nazgul if u want,... but scorp is better in attack in the end, even though the nazgul has better pdef)

    im not planning to restart, since all my friends are on lost city anyways im happy enough playing a pk server ^^ i just wanted a straight forward guideline on what pets i needed to survive lol

    Would you mind giving a little more on your build? Because really, it depends on your build.

    Vitality arcane, been using a crystalline magmite for the most part and its faired well, but im switching to glacial

    Fair enough. I say get a scorp or another DD pet for grinding and quests, though.
