Pet Renaming Question

I'm sure the answer is no, which is stupid, but I'm not sure. If you change the name of a pet, is there a way to get the original name back, without having to tame another one?

    Dont think its possible.

    Buy another item to change the name of the pet (I don't know now the name of this item xD) and rename it with the original name. Easy

    Unless of course the original pet name is longer than 8 characters which is... well almost all of them.
