I would go either pure mag or light armor.... which would be either 9 mag 1 str ever 2 levels or for light armor 3mag 1 str and 1 dex every level

theres guides for this but yeaa
pve most damage but lowest survivability-9mag 1 str
pve high damage somewhat better survivability- 8mag 1str 1vit (or however much vit you want)
pvp decent damge higher crits and light armor for even defense- 6mag 2str 2 dex

Of course he says it seriously, its the clear choice for any cleric. There are people who use other builds like full mag or light armor, but these are clearly joke builds.

Obviously his large amount of dex will make him crit enough to outdamage even pure builds. In addition he'll have so much evasion melee mobs wont even be an issue. Clearly the ultimate cleric build.

I think people missed the obvious sarcasm in that post, hinted at by the mention of full MAG and LA builds being joke builds.

Personally, I'd build your character based on what you think you're likely to get the most out of. For me, that's Light Armor because I like to be able to take hits from melee's without dying, and because I can shard in HP for added survivability. For others its pure MAG because while more vulnerable, they play a heavier support role and want their skills to be exceptional not just average.

Play around and see what works best for you. You can always reset it later.

Yeah.I got that I was just pointing that out and I do have my own build which is hybrid mag/vit.

Personally, i like a mix of these two builds for arcane caster classes. 8-1-1 at first, but i stop adding vit once i have around 50-60 vit points, and go 9-1 after that.

proper attributes are:

large ****, slender legs, and big butts.

carry a stick of some shape or form to wave around intimidatingly but that's not as important.

marry a barb by lvl 60, (or just tame a barb slave) and all your problems will be solved. you'll both be poor, but it will be convenient for getting things done (like acquiring bigger sticks, etc)
