How To Stat An Assassin

can any1 tell me the different ways in which to stat an assassin please.
planning on starting on sometime and i dont wanna fudge up on the build

    Hybrid is actually built this way:
    Every Even level: 1 Str, 4 Dex
    Every Odd level: 1 Str, 1 Vit, 3 Dex

    The Hybrid is a combination of the other two builds, Pure Dex and Vit, being the even and odd levels respectively. So you described the Vit build, but I believe that Hybrid is more popular than the Vit build, which is what you were talking about.

    You pretty much build the assassin the same as an archer, stat wise.

    I was wondering since str cover all phys attacks except dagger, daggers is covered under dex so wouldn't have str be a waste(beside str needed to wear armor or equip weapons) unless the sin uses something besides daggers. So wouldn't more of a dex and vit build work better?

    Both of the builds he mentioned have minimal str required to wear light armor. You need at least 1 str every level to be able to wear it.

    Assassin builds = Archer builds. Litterally the exact same thing.

    1 pt into str every single level and you will always be able to wear LA and your weapons
    Then you just have to think about if you wanna be a high HP assassin, and kill things slower, or a pure dex build, and kill things before they kill you.

    I went with 1 Str, 1 Vit, 3 Dex every level up til 50. This gave me extra health to deal with the squishy LA factor, but now with better gear / skills, I can afford to go pure dex. I fully intend on resetting my vit later on though so that I can be full dex and destroy things. >=D
